We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Capital - the location on quieter streets still near Jelacica Square was perfect for sightseeing and getting to restaurants. The hotel’s staff are top notch in their professionalism and attentiveness - if the staff are proud of the establishment (as they should be) it certainly shows. The breakfast is on the pricey side, but was worth it for the luxurious options offered. The decor of the hotel and restoration of build are also excellently done. Our room and the common areas were all as clean and well kept as could be. The only recommendation I could have is that there were not enough hooks or a towel rack in our bathroom and having a mirror outside of the bathroom would have been nice.

Especially staff’s hospitality, welcoming and caring atmosphere from arrival to departure. Best milk coffee I had in Zagreb. Surprisingly reasonable price for their quality of service and accommodation. Beautiful historical building used to be a bank. I would love to come back again.

The door to the bathroom doesn't allow for maximum privacy, but it is a modern well equipment bathroom.

I was by car, and the hotel has a valet service, which is nice for such a central building. However, I was told to just stop in front of the hotel, and when I got there, it was a road with the only tramway rails, that was confusing. If you are by car, the hint - you can stop right on the pavement close to the entrance, it really narrow space but it’s possible. :)

The staff was completely incredible, friendly, and attentive. It’s an old building in an old-money style, but not pretentious and quite cozy. I booked a room with a small balcony; it’s recommended for the roof fan, as I am one. Warm floor in the bathroom, a great kit of toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers - a pleasant addition. Breakfast is good - nothing special but nicely served, and you will have everything you need. Bed was very comfortable, room was warm (I was in early March). There was welcome and farewell chocolate present as well.

Tastefully renovated, customer care superb and much higher than ever experienced in Croatia particularly when compared with the big chains Sheraton, Hilton etc. Food was lovely, location great. Lovely ambience, we will stay here again.
