Rooms are great, clean, have everything that you need in a hotel. Breakfast was really good. Staff is exceptional, I do not remember ever being somewhere where I had better staff. They make your stay way better

Booked this hotel at the last minute and so pleased we did. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Just a short walk from the beach area plus parking it was perfect for our stay.

Great hotel that is slightly set back from the seafront, which means you avoid the noise from all the restaurants and bars. Good size rooms. Bathroom with rain shower and Rituals products. Very good and lagre double bed. Towels are changed every day, and the hotel offers free loan of beach towels for use by the pool or on the beach. Great breakfast with a good selection is included in the stay. What makes the hotel unique, is the wonderful staff. They do everything to ensure you have a great stay. This was our second stay at Hotel Ani and we are already longing to return.

The mattress in our room was worn out, you litteraly fall in. A lot of pigeons on pool was very annoying..

Staff was really excellent. When we arrived, Mariyana helped us with evertrhing. She was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Alsof her collegeaus were very nice, attentive and friendly. Really good hotel, nice and clean rooms, parking for.your car, great location. The option for a small bite at the pool (Olives, cheese and ham) would have made.it perfect. But without that we also had a great stay!!!

Boutique Hotel Ani was a joy. Loved our room, good buffet breakfast. We did not use the pool or spa, but it looked good. Nice firm pillows. Staff were happy to help with all kinds of advice on where to go and what to see. (including a vineyard, which we really enjoyed).

The main road is pretty close and noise but it’s not the hotel’s fault. The windows can shut out the noise pretty well.

The atmosphere of the hotel was exceptional. Staff was very-very friendly. Breakfast was amazing, wide selection of various food even with wide range of gluten free options. The rooms and everything in the hotel was perfectly clean. Everything was spot on!

Nice, clean and cozy boutique hotel, 100 m from beach, 15 minutes walk from city centre. Room was clean, spacy and silent. Breakfast was very good. Special thanks to Darija who greeted me on day of my arrival and made me feel very welcome. Unfortunatelly it was only one night stay for me, so I didn't have opportunity to try pool or gym. Maybe next time. Highly recommended!

From arriving at Hotel Ani late one evening where we were given a glass of fizz to enjoy sitting around the pool until leaving for the airport in the taxi arranged for us by the hotel we had the most wonderful stay in Makarska. Our hotel room was a really spacious L-shaped room with a living area leading to the balcony. I always take my own shower gel as the standard in hotels sometimes isn't great but the bathroom and gym/Spa bathrooms/toilets were all stocked with a Rituals range so I didn't bother using my own. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day with towels changed on a daily basis. There was always a good choice of continental breakfast items as well as egg options - the omelettes were especially delicious and the breakfast room was a lovely, peaceful area usually overseen by Mate. The pool area though not massive was big enough with comfy sunbeds and the towels supplied by the hotel could also be taken down to the beach. Hotel Ani is situated just a few minutes walk from the promenade and beach and about a 10 minute walk into the Old Town where we went each evening, visiting restaurants recommended by the hotel. We tended to stay by the pool during the day as the beach was very busy when we visited in August. The lovely Marijana & Dijana were always on hand to keep us hydrated with glasses of water (or serve us with alcoholic drinks later on in the afternoon!) The bar had a good selection of drinks & cocktails and very reasonably priced for a hotel. On our return each evening, Jure would always be waiting for us with a smile, ready to serve us with a drink if we wanted one and give me a glass of fresh milk to take up with me for my morning coffee. Hotel Ani really is a gem of a hotel made even more special by the staff who I've mentioned and also the ones I didn't manage to catch the names of.

Breakfast lacks variety - after a week they start to get boring. Sometimes there is not enough space at the pool.

A cozy hotel located away from noisy restaurants, but at the same time within walking distance to the beach. The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfasts.

new hotel relative close to the beachfront. very few rooms (approx. 30) and hence not many guests in the hotel (visit middle of July). great atmosphere and extremely nice and service minded staff.
