Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SloveniaWe asked for double bed and it was confirmed, but we get 2 single beds. The bathroom window looked directly to the other room balcony. Glass bathroom door - you can hear everything to the bedroom 🙃. No coffe in the room, just 3 filter tea bags. Poor breakfast, one type of bread, cheese, yogurt, jam, no honey ... we did not use the beach, but there is a yacht marine so I suppose water is not proper for swimming?

You have a beautiful hotel and the location was perfect for us. The breakfast was amazing, very very delicious. Good sized room. Overlooking the water. 2nd floor with no lift. The receptionist was really helpful and accompanied us to our room and even carried our suitcase up the stairs!

Little variation in breakfast, coffee was too strong and only 1 coffee machine available (that broke down regularly). Swimming pool was very good. Excellent view from the dining room. Great terrace attached to the room.
