Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyBed is a little bit harder than expected and that makes it a bit uncomfortable but with thicker top mattress will be perfect. Overall everything else is amazing!
Our stay was for about 2 weeks and i can honestly say that you have everything in the flat to stay even longer. My wife and i loved that its maximum 5 minutes walking distance to the Old town where basically you can find anything. We had multiple trips out of the town to explore more beaches and other beautiful nature and the very polite owner told us for the Uber app with way better and fair prices than privately finding a taxi. Goran was super nice and answered to every question we had including an emergency situation to find ourselves new suitcases because ours broke very bad. Flat had absolutely everything including simple things like enough toiletries and coffee. From the beginning he gave us a map and told us about good restaurants, different beaches and in general about the location of everything. Also as a plus he checked a tourist agency if its a legit and that was very nice of him. We were not bothered for anything. He picked us from the station and helped us with our luggage. Location of the flat is absolutely 10 out of 10. You have 1 supermarket near by, smaller shop right behind the building, 5 minutes from the Old town, near to every corner of other tour and entertainment agencies for organised trips and plenty of boats that you can rent for a day or a few hours to enjoy the sunset. Kolovare beach is kinda crowdy but very near (about 15 minutes by foot). We had amazing time in Zadar and being in this flat was a large plus! Communication was easy with the owner, apartment was perfect, location more than perfect. Definitely recommend the place and we would love to be back!

United KingdomThe apartment building doesn't look very welcoming but you soon don't notice it. I stayed there for a week on my own and felt safe.
Excellent communication with Goran via Whatsapp. I sent him a message when I arrived in the old town from the airport and he met me at the apartment building to show me everything and gave me a map and tips on what to see and do, he was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is really clean and comfy and it's like being at home. It has everything you could need and more - oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, air con etc. There's a covered balcony on one side and a sun room on the other. The location is great, it's only a 5 min walk to the bridge to the old town and the Lido/beach are an easy 15-20 min walk. There's a small supermarket next door and a bigger one over the road and it's not too far from a big Lidl. There's also a bus stop on the road outside. I really enjoyed my week there and would love to go back. Thanks Goran :)

SlovakiaThe host was very helpful, great person. Many many thanks for help, ideas, kindness. The apartment is in a great location, near to the old town, bus station, beach, markets. It was a calm and very romantic place, with terrace, fully equipped cozy apartment. Our best choice in Croatia. 1****, recommend it. We will come back.

GermanyThe water kettle is quite old maybe because when I was boiling water inside the small pieces of white layers is coming from it’s surface so it’ll be good to change it. At first I didn’t notice it but the next day my husband saw that and then we boiled water in stove for making coffee.
It was clean and everything was there if anyone needs anything in a house. Price was also good for value. Location was good. Kaufland Supermarkt is near and old town is five minutes away from the apartment. We arrived in late hour of night so Mr. Goran picked up us from airport to the apartment. It was really a kind gesture of him. Travelers who want privacy and relaxing environment this is the best option I think. There’s two nice balcony for enjoying your coffee.
