Water leaking in bathroom which I read about in other reviews so clearly has not been fixed and miscommunications with booking.com for check in and organised transfer

Need better pillows. A/C unit upstairs didn’t blow cool air which made it hard to sleep as it was a hot period. Bathroom should have better amenities. Shower is difficult to manage because of the positioning of doors and hard to keep water from flowing onto floor.

Best location. Nice patios. Little extras such as bottle of wine and snacks. Host was very helpful. Plenty of room.

Check in process was poor and lack of communication from the owner as their booking system did not work well with Booking.com so messages went astray

There was mis-communication between Booking + the host. The host had to jump into a cab and fight through traffic to get to us to open the door. The system relied on our expected check in time and wasn't updated when we wrote to say (the day before) that we would be arriving at check in time.

The location next to the walled old city was incredible. The host let us know that the annual arts festival was starting that evening, so we enjoyed those festivities and could even see the fireworks show from the balcony. The space itself is very modern + well equipped- plenty of space for our family of 5.

Bedrooms on different floors. Shower temp was inconsistent.

Great location. Comfy beds. Balcony with a view. Clean and tidy. Good amount of space. Friendly manager with good tips for restaurants and things to see. I would definitely stay here again.

no heaters in the bedroom and pretty chilly (there dec 30 - jan 1), esp bottom floor. common spaces fine. extra blankets appreciated and needed. second floor bathroom toilet kind of shaky and water comes out of the shower (one of those glass barriers) and we lost hot water after a two people showered. the booking goes through direct booker and although we put down our info on booking.com they asked us to pay the host directly but she did not have a CC swiper and neither she nor we were comfortable paying in cash. we contacted direct booker and they did charge our CC the next day. as someone else mentioned, it was a bit odd. NB - there is parking right next door (parking zicara) which is the only parking right around there for tourists. off season, it was 10 kuna/hour which is as reasonably priced as can be. good for dropping off luggage. we actually parked there the whole time despite the cost since it was so convenient and ended up being $10.00 more a day to park (plus free on new years) - the dubrovnik garage parking lot was only 3 min away and 180 kuna/24 hours. on google, it looks like there is more parking (buza, javni, street) but those are all reserved for residents.

wow. location location location. we debated between booking inside the walls of the old city vs outside and we are so glad we went with this. the view from the second floor balcony is the money shot. we took pictures of it all the time and watched fireworks for new years there. it is at most a 2 min walk to the buza gate. marina met us at the flat and gave us tips on the city. she was so accommodating. beds typical for Croatia on the harder side but that's what we liked. comfy common space. well appointed kitchen, scattered candies and snacks and water and juice were super extra touches. internet fast. did we mention the view?! 2 bathrooms for 4 was great. having a washing machine and drying rack were key as well.

In the bathroom upstairs the floor got wet when taking a shower. That’s really just the only thing I can think of.

Location, location, location. Two beautiful outdoor spaces with spectacular views. Good beds. Kind host Nera gave us good recommendations. Don’t look further!

This place is a perfect location and it comes with everything you need to relax watching over the Walls of Dubrovnik. It has two different terraces so you can enjoy a meal or drink outside. There is enough space for everyone. We loved all the details that it comes: water and wine in the fridge, toothbrushes, coffee, toast, jams, etc

it felt quite tired I places with parts in need of repair. The bedroom upstairs was quite hot and the windows didn’t work properly. The view is lovely but the road outside is busy all day and noisy. We also got messed around with payment and transfers which was quite frustrating when I’d double checked.

The host was really friendly and informative, we liked the view from the balconies and the sofa was comfortable.

First, let me say this property is managed by a property management company so there was never any direct communication with the owner prior to arrival. There were some issues with their reservation system that kept sending emails saying my credit card was declined which was frustrating. I contacted them and they assured me all was fine with my booking. We weren’t given any specific directions other than the address so we had a little issue finding the apartment. We were told someone would be there to help us find it and let us in, but no one was there at the time we said we would arrive. We called the property manager and they said they would contact the owner. About 45 minutes later, she arrived and, with no apology, blamed it on the manager saying they told her a different time. Forty-five minutes seems like a long wait when you are tired and hungry after traveling and just want to get settled in. Also, there were food products in the refrigerator left by the previous guests and other items in the bathroom that made us feel the apartment had not been cleaned well. The coffee provided was from an open container rather than individual servings which didn't feel sanitary. When showering (downstairs), the water would fluctuate between hot and cold which made for very unpleasant showering. A couple of other minor issues...the towels were old and rough and the refrigerator made noises that woke us up at night. But it would stop if you banged on it. : )

There are two good things about this apartment...the location and the view. The apartment is located just a stone's throw from the Ploce Gate which made for easy access to Old Town without being inside the wall where it is crowded. The apartment is two levels with steps from the street to a porch with entry into a kitchen area. The porch is covered with vines making it a nice shady place to sit and enjoy views of the water and people walking on the bridge into Old Town. One bedroom and one bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is the living area with a balcony offering a similar view as the one below, with a second bedroom and bathroom.
