It was the best stay we've had in almost three weeks traveling between Albania, Montenegro and Croatia. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The beds are super comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, fresh fish, and it was to die for. And by far the best thing about this stay was the owners. Incredible people, extremely friendly and kind, like we've never met before. I would stay longer on the island and in this accommodation just because of the welcome we received. I hope to have the opportunity to return one day.

The atmosphere of the apartment is excellent. Whole family give us the feeling just like stay at our another home. This qiuet location give us a real relaxation. We wish we can stay there for more days. The food is also excellent, scampi with spaghetti is a must, sweet sea food perfect source. The best combination of ingredients. Perfect

There was nothing we didn’t like

Of all the properties we stayed in Croatia this was the most well prepared for everything from cooking to comfort. There wasn’t anything missing to make our stay complete. Had a beautiful patio that haas several areas to sit. Very spacious rooms Beautiful view. Most of all the hosts were incredible. They greeted us with crapes on our arrival. And every morning they had fresh baked goodies. Lovely couple and very accommodating..

All was perfect. My only regret is not staying longer!

Apartments Lampalo is possibly the very best in Croatia! I have stayed in many Croatian apartments and hotels but the welcome and kindness of the hosts is exceptional. The location is wonderful with a large terrace overlooking Okuklje bay. There is an excellent well priced restaurant on site and nothing is too much trouble for the kind family who run Lampalo. This was my second visit and I look forward to returning next year to this very special place. I highly recommend.

Everything exceeded expectations.

Outstanding location in the beautiful little village of Okuklje in a comfortable spacious apartment with a stunning view. The hosts were wonderful accommodating our dietary needs at breakfast and for dinner of traditional Croatian food cooked in the outdoor wood oven and providing desperately needed laundry service. The generous fresh home cooked cake, different every day was a real treat. Has to be our favourite stay in all of our 2 weeks of our Croatian holiday!

/ nothing to say. Just a small suggestion for the hosts: we thought it might be a nice alternative to use reusable boxes for the cake (and the guests return it at the end of the day), to avoid the trash.

We stayed for one week and we absolutely loved it! Okuklje is a lovely place, very calm and relaxing. The Apartment was perfect, we felt very comfortable. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the hosts were so nice and friendly. We got some cake every day which was very tasty, and so was breakfast and dinner. Theres parking in front of the Apartment. You can also swim in the clear water just in front of the Apartment. Mljet is a wonderful Island. Highly recommended!

Simple but nice rooms with a stunning view on Okuklje harbour. Located right on the harbour with all restaurants just nearby. The host was incredibly welcoming and always aiming at making our stay very pleasant. Difficult not to fall in love with the place and the very peaceful village. Easy parking.

The location is absolutely beautiful ..you do need a car to get around. Such an authentic little village. The room is a good size, and very comfortable & clean. The hosts are welcoming, caring & attentive. The food at their restaurant is the freshest & cooked with care. The cake every morning is INCREDIBLE!!!

I don't know where to start..a wonderful apartment with a sea view, and clean water, the owners' extraordinary hospitality, the wonderful grilled dishes, the peaceful sleepy village and the unforgettable cakes served every morning by the owners. We will definitely come back.

It was one of the best experiences we ever had! Jele and Petar were exceptional hosts and were just so lovely to us and our dog. They sent us a detailed description of how to get there and greeted us with wine and pancakes on arrival. They were always available and most helpful when we had any questions. The communication in English (and a little bit of German) was without any problems. The apartment was very clean and in the kitchen we found everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning worked perfectly and the view is just spectacular! The bay is calm and idyllic without too many tourists and you can jump into the water right before the building. We will definitely return!

Wish we could have stayed longer

We absolutely loved this place. It is set in a beautiful quiet bay- my partner loved chilling on the balcony overlooking the bay. I enjoyed swimming around the bay. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and generous! They were very helpful explaining about the island and advising on our trip to the national park. We ate a delicious dinner there too and they also shared some wonderful homemade cakes.

The apartment itself is dated and has too much furniture in. No minimart or ATM open in village so arrive prepared.

The setting is idyllic. Family could not be more helpful and the evening meals are exceptional.

We liked everything

Hosts Jele and Petar are very warm people. Petar gave us lots of good information about Island. Room was very clean and view from balcony exceptional. Food was excellent and hosts treated us with cake every morning. We are already planning to come back next year.
