Would have preferred one of the pools to be slightly bigger and some of the fixtures in the room to be newer.

Overall facilities are wonderful given the choices as the various Royal properties are in the same compound. Great breakfast and exceedingly helpful staff. The location next to the Lapad Bay Walk and the proximity to the bus stop with a bus route to the Old Town was also very convenient. The facilities around the beaches (all beaches are rocky and not sandy) were also first rate.

It was perfect. On our return-Didn’t like the fact that the hotel group could cancel your booking, not inform you until arrival at night and place you in a total different hotel ( not even their hotel group).

The breakfast was unreal. Great choice. Very fresh. We loved the roof top pool so much we are returning to the sister hotel the Royal Neptun( in a few days -couldn’t get the Ariston) on our return journey. Unfortunately arrived on our return to find that the sister hotel had cancelled our booking ( we had paid in full and confirmed late arrival). We were given a lesser room in a not as nice a hotel. It ruined what had been a lovely experience with this hotel group. If you want to ensure you definitely have your room book elsewhere.

the experience was marred by a couple of significant issues that I feel must be addressed. The air conditioning in the room was not working for an entire day. Despite multiple notifyications to reception starting at early morning, it was only fixed at 9 pm. The repairman’s presence in the room for an full hour was an unwelcome disruption to my plans. Unexpected issues can hapen, but upon checkout, the response I received was a simple “we are sorry for the inconvenience,” which felt inadequate and robotic as this is not the level of service one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Furthermore, I was initially provided an invoice that was almost 150 EUR higher than it should have been. Although the issue was eventually resolved, I lost an hour at reception going back and forth during checkout. This added frustration to what should have been a smooth process. Once again, this is not something I would expect from a 5 star hotel.

I was pleased with my stay. The comfort of the bed was one of the highlights of my experience; it allowed for restful nights after long days of exploring. Additionally, the location of the property is superb. The beach near the hotel is genuinely beautiful, and I found it to be a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The view from the room was breathtaking. The staff was consistently polite and prodesion, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I must highlight the food and beverages manager, Ante, who was exceptionally helpful. His unexpected friendly gestures truly lightened our experience and added a personal touch to the stay.

We booked 2 rooms but were assigned different buildings. The check in clerk upgraded us to the Royal Princess where we were still at opposite ends of the building but closer than the Ariston. The in house laundry service stained 2 of my shirts and didn’t press any of our washing despite my request to do so and approval of the extra cost.

Beautifully located beside the ocean, with a selection of restaurants and lovely helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable.

Breakfast is chaotic! Like herding ants! But not the hotels fault, and so much choice of quality food items, even a bubbly drink! Beach is rocks and concrete.

Pools clean. Close to bus stops for easy reach into old town. Quality toiletries. Mini bar available. Roomy balcony. As of August 2023: €2 one way into old town. €20 taxi from ferry port. €45 taxi to airport.

The room was nice and clean, I would not make a big deal out of it, but I would like to write a couple of things that cought my eyes the longer I stayed in the room: - first time I took a shower, the drain was blocked. i fixed it by pressing my hand against it so the water went down - a shampoo bottle lock and knot of hair under the bed - dust on wall base board and top on light switches - bottle opener was missing from minibar

you have to walk a lot to get from room to reception to pool to beach...if mobility is an issue, i would not stay here

The pools could have been cleaner, especially the one on the roof of the Blue hotel, the tiles were needing a good scrub. Very busy at breakfast. The access into the sea could be better, im not sure how they would do it, maybe some non slip matting.

hotel and room were lovely, we hadn't realised it was part of 5 hotels! Great for going around different pools. the bus into the old town was only a 5 min walk from the hotel and just 2 euros. All staff friendly and very helpful.

The house keeping needs to improve a bit. There were leftover dirty clothes on balcony chairs and drying bar in bathroom was very dusty. I had to clean it myself!

It’s beach front and not far from old city. 15-18 Euro and 20 minutes taxi ride. It has 5-7 pools good for family and you watch astonishing sunset in the pool! Room is very spacious with ocean view!

Actually it’s not that relevant, as a Caribbean, only bit of a downside I can think about is not having a better, larger beach area available, other than that the place is superb and the Ariston staff and facilities make you forget about it…
