The ramp lift button didn't work so we walked to the hotel. Fortunately, we met two workers who raised the ramp with their cards and let us go with the car to the hotel.

The main building is a bit tired and requires a bit of a refurbishment but overall it's a decent 3 star hotel. We had a room in the annex building which was very comfortable, clean, well maintained and had a great view of the bay.

The location is great. A quiet area with easy access to Dubrovnik and some good restaurants in the vicinity. The pool area is good and overall we had a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful flag stones on many steps and pathways were loose or uneven, prime for a twisted ankle.

The pool was very small for the size of the hotel, so we never got to enjoy the pool.

The beach was nice, and the restaurant close to the sea was great! Just a short walk from the hotel was a restaurant serving pizza, and that was amazing! The breakfast was nice too, but we would have liked it to be served later, it was closed a little earlyin our opinion.

I really dont understand why the hotel allow People to put their towels at the pool area when they are not there. The breakfast was nice but too many people at one time and they were taking too much food on their plate without eating it. We had ti go early because it was ridiculous to watch and specifically in these climate times.

The total building needs general renovation. At the road between the hotel and the pool area, motorcycles was driving like crazy without light, at very high speed. Very close to accidents, only a luck that nothing happened. People and children will one day be killed !!!

- We were unable to work out a valid and plausible reason for the lack of a Fridge and an Iron in the room. It's so essential nowadays. - Beach rules must be observed by the Beach managers - NO dogs MUST mean NO dogs! Even for 30mins. - It's NOT an Adults only Hotel. Topless and let alone nude sunbathing and swimming must be prohibited. - No safety guards on the Beach. Why?

- Breakfast was good, fully matching the Hotel's *** level. Very Good selection of foods. Fresh and well presented. - Very clean indeed! This is brilliant! - Location - Fantastic for, I think, everyone and nature lovers in particular! - Sea - outstanding and beyond expectations.

The hotel feels like home. The staff makes the holiday, as they are kind and helpful. The food was great and mrs Mariana and her team are amazing. She takes care of each visitor and looks after every need and special requests. The staff at reception and especially mr Ivica are so nice, welcoming and takes care of you with a smile. The atmosphere is hard to find in other hotels and that is why we come back every time. Love it

Paying to use table tennis! No other hotel I’ve stayed in the world charges to use this. We even had our own bats and balls. Why not just a deposit?

Although delicious, the selection of food could be slightly better, very low offer of fresh fruit. Also, air conditioning wasn't cooling sufficiently and some kids animation would be good to have. Otherwise, for the price, this is very good hotel in total.

It is perfectly situated, clean, pool wonderful, beach in front, rooms spacious and cosy, bathroom modern and clean, sweet and modern balcony, view fabulous!

Room was very clean and very well maintained during our stay in the Astarea Annex block. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was plenty chose for breakfast and evening meals even when busy. The Pool was excellent and always very clean and grounds well maintained to full complex. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Very loud air conditioner in the room and it was not possible to turn it off. It reacted together with the balcony door. The only option was to leave the balcony door open, but with hot weather this is not the best solution. The contents of the rooms, especially the carpets on the floor, could use a little updating. FYI! - don't ask the taxi from the hotel!!! Older man from reception called us a taxi (without taxi plate on the car). Worse ride to Dubrivnik in the evening time. Young taxi driver was speeding in the mountains like hell, he was on the phone (scrolling and talking) at the same time, pushing through the traffic despite the fact that we repeatedly asked him to drive normally. It seems that the hotel has its own deal with this taxi driver because we saw this black bus in front of the hotel many days. I think the hotel could choose more and better that what kind of service they suggest to clients.

Very nice and quiet area, about 10 km from Dubrovnik. Nice pool area, sea, restaurants, gym etc.

Lack of vegetarian food in the restaurant - there was the occasional meat free option but no vegetarian proteins Whilst both of our room were priced at the superior room standard one room was significantly bigger and better equipped than the other one
