I would fully recommend. The owners are a lovely couple and the appartement is spaceous and had a nice balcony. A great place to relax, depart from to hike in the mountains or to stay for your beach and snorkling holiday. Bakery and grocery stores at walking distance. If we would come back to the region, we would stay here again.

The only thing I could say is the location because it’s up a big hill but I wouldn’t let that put you off because the views are amazing.

Beautiful apartment. The balcony has an amazing view and great sofa with coffee table to hang out at. So much space in the apartment. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the town centre and up a big hill on the way back (but most of Makarska is on hills). Our hosts Zrinka and Ivan couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. They gave us lovely gifts at the end of our stay to take home too. 10/10 recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Blue House apartment in Makarska, Croatia, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the older couple who run the place made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. Their warm smiles and kind gestures set the tone for the entire stay. The apartment itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and meticulously clean. It was evident that a lot of care and thought had been put into every detail, from the tasteful furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. I appreciated having everything I needed to prepare my own meals, including modern appliances and a wide range of utensils. One of the highlights of the apartment was the large balcony that afforded breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding area. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. What truly set the Blue House apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They were always available and eager to provide me with recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. They even went the extra mile to provide maps and guidebooks, ensuring that I could easily navigate the area and make the most of my stay. I cannot speak highly enough of the Blue House apartment and its wonderful hosts. It is an ideal choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing vacation in Makarska. Not only will you enjoy stunning views and luxurious accommodations, but you will also be treated to the extraordinary warmth and care of the hosts. The hosts were so sweet and kind! When we arrived they served us cold drinks. They even put some drinks in the fridge for us. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and great parking (under shades). After check-out they were so kind to let us park our car in the back because one of their guests did not come by car. On top of this we got a small present as a thankyou for our visit, too sweet!

Hosts were very nice. This was the best place we have stayed in Croatia. Apartments are modern, very clean and fully equipped. It has free parking. There was a big terrace with sea view and furniture where we stayed most of the time. We felt like home, it was very calm and quiet place. Perfect for relaxing and vacation time. Very beautiful apartment, seems like new. Clean, much bigger than expected and very bright. Big balcony where you can even sunbathe. Shared washing machine and iron was very useful. Loved the shared grill. Owners are very nice, friendly and willing to help. Loved it. Definetly recommend.

We loved this place. Been welcomed with cold cherry rakija. Place is located near the city center but also in a quiet area. Very comfortable rooms with terrace and nice outside kitchen. Amazing! Thank you so so much for this incredible stay.

Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect, from a clean, comfortable and newly furbished room, to an amazing host who made our stay very enjoyable and greeted us with a big smile when we first came. The location of the accommodation is very good, only a few minutes walk from the beach in a quiet part of Makarska. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to have a great vacation!

Out of all the places we have stayed this is without a doubt the best one! The apartment was impeccably clean, every appliance was new and spotless. The bed is more comfortable than in a high end hotel and the apartment is equipped with everything you need. To top all this off, the hosts are the most hospitable and welcoming people we have ever met. They greeted us with traditional homemade cherry brandy and were constantly available if we had any questions or if we needed help. They even helped us pay our parking ticket! These are the hosts everyone should look up to. Blue House definitely made our stay in Makarska better.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The hosts were very nice, helpful and offered us lovely gifts during our stay. They truly are people with big hearts and passion. The room was cozy and comfortable with a great kitchen on the terrace. Super clean - top! It's a bit far from the city, however, it's a plus because it's quiet and the view of the mountains it's just spectacular :) We definitely would love to stay here again! It is one of the best hospitality we have ever had!

The both owners was very kind and nice, they gave us a welcome drink and wine while we're arrived at their place. The apartment was absolutely nice and comfortable. They provided their apartment with a complete daily activities (olive oil, salt, sugar, towels, pan, frying pan, washing machine). We will definitely want to come back again in the future.
