Generally we loved all. The only thing I would say that needs some improvement is food in two restaurants that are close to property (Planika and Bracera). We visited a week before the property, and I feel food was much better (at least in Planika). Other than that, everything is amazing, well managed place.

Everything. The rooms are amazing, amenities are great, breakfast is delicious, the spa is great. Absolutely one of my favorite places in Croatia.

Rooms were OK - nothing amazing despite being upgraded to a Junior Suite. charging plugs not conveniantely placed by bedside (USB?!). Faulty Balcony door, towels too new and left ”fluff marks” all over hands and clothes. ironing board/iron in a Junior Suite is expected Lobby needs improvement - feels like a conference centre. Spa area nice, but changing rooms need attention in terms of cleanliness.

Great F&B, fantastic surroundings that don’t dissapoint. 20 min from Old Town but fine for us. had some issues day 1 with reception but the remaining stay provided fault free service (well done to the Interns! and Front Office Manager did a great job as well)

Only one stuff member, who stand&checked the room numbers at the breakfast restaurant. She was very mean, and her outfit was not adekvate!

Just the marginalities: The approach to the sea may be a bit unpleasant / risky for some (small kids, pregnant women, older people) at some places. The AC was not very effective in our room. The utility water sometimes smells after the sea.

Overall great stay (again) in wonderful hotel at exquisite location nearby Zadar with truly welcoming people and warm atmosphere. The hotel meets the "necessities and standards" of Falkensteiner 5-stars but what makes the experience truly outstanding are the location and the sea at Punta Skala (you are literally surrounded by the sea, which itself is briliant, clear and soothing), the staff (all are really kind and welcoming, yet to name a few "stars" - Dragan, Gordan and Carlos, who always went that extra bit, Ema, Dajana, Zeljka and Miroslav, who made our experience a bit nicer) and the food and wines (especially the BBQ nights and Dragan's and Gordan's wine tours were exceptional). Hotel is family friendly, dogs friendly and suited both for leisure and active holidays.

When ordering drinks for breakfast, the waiter told me that they would bring us coffee and juice, but I could take a tea by myself in the breakfast room. In the hotels of this level, all drinks are usually served to the guests, regardless of whether the guests have access to them or not. I ordered a salad at the bar-restaurant by the pool for lunch. There was a worm in the salad. The ribeye was cold. There is no privacy in the bathroom. This is a common area with a bedroom behind a curtain. Everyone smokes everywhere.

In general, the hotel is good, the rooms are spacious. The guy at the reception was very helpful

Unfortuantely the chef in this Hotel appears to be trying their very best to meet Bistro high-end expectations. But their skill does not match the style. Beautiful looking food that arrives in very small sizes needs to be amazing to taste, smell and thrill the senses. It simply didnt. It really is not that good and thankfully it was free. Waiting for 35 minutes to receive any beverages, tables water, a wine list, anything. Is poor. I can understand the hotel having skeleton staff for off season, but they need to be trained and receptive to customers needs. The same applies to the bar, as the staff there seem overworked and less attentive than expected.

The resort is amazing. The hotel functional, but the spa and pools and ambiance are exceptional. One thing to state though is I am sure during the summer months much of the charm and peace will be broken by the shear number of people staying in the hotel and resort. The upgrade to our room was appreciated and thoughtful, the reception staff fantastically helpful and we were spoilt. The room has great facilities, but the decor is not amazing. But the view from the room and the bath gives this place 12 stars not 4. The SPA is exceptional, the size, peace, quality, tradition and thoughtfulness is incredible. Our Hammam massages truly a wonderul experience. Unfortunately we did not get to utilise all of the sporting facilities, but they are professional standard, extremely well maintained and clearly a great addition for anyones stay. We did utilise the gaming centre and pub, which was fun, incredibly well kitted out. As was both gyms. I think a return is likely, possibly not in the height of summer as it might be a crazy amount of people. Yet - I would truly recommend the hotel and resort to anyone.

The hotel has one of the best wellness facilities I’ve tried so far, an easy access to the beach. Stuff was also great, I even got Bday cake from the hotel without even mentioning it was my Bday.

The (menu) breakfast could be organized in a way that there is less congestion at food stations.

We took the dinner option as we didn't want to drive out of the complex to eat, but the first night all that was on offer was the menu choice dinner - we hoped for the usual hotel buffet option instead. The food WAS nice, but way too small for the price paid (works out around 250 HRK p.p.). There was, however, a small choice of starters on a buffet table. The second night there was a nice buffet dinner with great choice of food though.

The hotel itself is beautiful, loved all the colours - very Miami style! Our room was AMAZING - however, if you are not travelling with your partner, you must check if your room has bathroom behind closed doors ;) Our shower and bath were both inside the room, right next to the bed, which was VERY pretty and unusual, and WE LOVED it considering we were there for our 25th wedding anniversary (it certainly added to the romantic vibe - perfect for couples!), but needs to be checked as I am sure not everyone would be so happy about that arrangement :D Balcony was HUGE, but as there are no tea/coffee making facilities, a little bit pointless to us. We had our coffee at breakfast. Staff in the hotel were all very helpful, special thanks to Josipa in Sports Center building - she made our stay extra enjoyable with her level of customer service. Breakfast was excellent value as there was something for everyone's taste available, quite a few choices for kids too. Spa and Pool areas were FANTASTIC! Indoor pool also goes outside (half / half), there are choices of sweet pool water and salt pool water :) There are lots of changing areas, showers, few saunas, few speciality rooms (salt bath room for instance), a pool in the sauna area where you can swim nude, relax lounge etc. strangely no hot tubs though! Loved that you can drink / eat in your robes inside the spa area - for maximum relaxation - no need to get dried or dressed. Food prices are pretty high. Sports Centre is amaying, tennis courts, mini golf etc. right outside. As it was raining, we didn't walk along the beach at all, but saw it from our balcony and it looked great! Small pebbles, nice entrance to the sea, plenty of space... At the check out, we got offered bottles of water for the trip back :) Overall very relaxing weekend and we are definitelly coming back!

The hotel is fairly new but it’s maintenance is poor. In our room there wasn’t a doorknob on the toilet door, so when on toilet you couldn’t close the door.

The food is amazing, as well as the spa and the staff. Perfect location!
