How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Short walk from entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes Park and bus stop. Property is new, modern and very clean. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Restaurant a short stroll away for dinner.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a double room which was spacious and ample for our needs. the small fridge was useful. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Good shower. The whole property felt new and well kept. We had breakfast for an additional cost. It was an ample breakfast. We parked at the house and walked to Entrance 1 of Plitvice Jazera - about 10mins easy walk. Options for dinner at a number of restaurants close by.

The location is amazing. We could leave our car at the house and visit Plitvice National Park. Entrance 1 is less than a 10 minute walk. The room is nice and clean. Would definitely recommend when visiting Plitvice NP.

We couldn't fault the property.
A wonderful guest house located within walking distance of Entrance 1 to the National Park. Sandra and Zlatko were fabulous hosts and have taken great care to create rooms which make you feel instantly at home. Our one bedroom apartment was clean and well appointed - perfect for a family of 4. Breakfast was available at a cost of EUR9 pp and was welcome before a day exploring the lakes and waterfalls. Thank you.

Would have enjoyed some Adirondack type chairs on the lawn or another comfortable ways to enjoy being outside in the evening. Also, it would be nice to be able to get some snacks and a beer at the property after hiking.
The location at the park entrance was perfect and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was ample and fresh.

I liked everything.
The village is very picturesque and located very near the entrance 1 to Plitvice Lakes Park (about 10 minutes to walk). A perfectly clean room with a kettle and a nice selection of fruit teas, and an extremely large bed.

The location was excellent for walking to Entrance A, about 600 meters. The air conditioner was very quiet and absolutely necessary given the especially hot weather during our stay. The owner helped us plan the routes so as to minimize crowds and maximize walking in the shade. We had one breakfast which was fully satisfactory.

Not only the room was great and comfortable, but it's just a minute away from the national park. Additionally, the host was very flexible with check-in hours.

Nothing negative, only one suggestion: -Providing a better map to access the house by foot from the Park. The most obvious way is from the main road, but is not very safe. There is an alternative path through the parking lot, but is not easy to find. This would be very useful for someone arriving by bus, specially at night.
-Location is perfect, very close to the park, super quiet and with an amazing view. -Communication with owner was great, for every detail. -House is pretty awesome, room very clean with everything required.

Nowhere to sit in the afternoon/evening sun at the back or side of property. We hadn’t realised there was a separate breakfast room but this was just a misunderstanding.
The location to Plitvice was perfect and it was easy to walk through the car park avoiding the main road. Breakfast was good. Local restaurant was excellent.

Host was very friendly and easy to contact. The room was really nice and just a few minutes walk from park’s Entrance 1 and a fantastic restaurant, Licka Kuca.

Only 300m to entrance of Plitvice National Park, which was perfect for us. Great to park up and leave car whilst heading to National Park. Also very close to restaurants

We stayed two nights in the apartment. We loved the design of the house! Really comfy bed&couch, delicious breakfast, super close to the Entrance 1 of Plitvice National Park. Last but not least, the host is very nice and friendly, always ready to give us tips&tricks useful for our stay.

Great location, stunning little flat A1. Immaculate, well decorated, round the corner from Entrance 1 to Plitvice and we walked in and out of the park everyday so we saved on parking. The owner even let us park for the day when we checked out as we were visiting the park that day again. Lovely breakfast - for €8 per person. Fresh, good variety of foods, so much food that we also made sandwiches for our walks in the park. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.
