How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We loved the welcome and the good advice for where to visit eat and get the most out of our visit. The balcony is a gem to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning sun. The apartment is set out really well if you choose to eat in or just chill on the sofa. The bed is fantastic and really comfortable.

Host was amazing. Came to meet us so we could find the location and parking. Gave us great recommendations and went out her way to make sure we had a good stay. Located walking distance to everything in Pula. Grocery store downstairs. Stay here! Unbelievable value.

Nothing to dislike,
Amazing 1st floor apartment in fabulous location in center of town with a small supermarket on the next door. The host was there on arrival to greet us and gave us lots of information on the area and restaurants etc. She was also very helpful in assisting us in receiving a package on our behalf.

It is in the center of downtown and all the tour spots is 5 minutes walk distance. If you come by a rental car, ask the owner if she can proved you a special parking spot. It is very hard to find a public parking lot, and this special deal will save you! You will see people's walking up and down from the terrace of the apartment. In front of the apartment, there are one of the best Italian gelato place! The apartment owner is extremely helpful!

Since it's a touristic street it might be harder to sleep to light sleepers (which I am), but earpluggs can help. And they play very good music on the streets in the mornings))

Really flexible, friendly, helpful host. Nice sized room that could fit a couple very comfortably. Location is right on the Main Street so its a bit loud at night, but quieter than one would expect. White noise blocked it completely out!

Everything perfect

Maybe a kettle would be useful.
The apartment was clean and comfortable and ideally situated for exploring Pula. The host was really friendly and helpful - giving lots of information on things to see and do /where to eat etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the guest house.

Wifi was a little weak at times but that didn't bother us as we were on holiday!
We had a wonderful stay in the Guest House in Pula. Andrea was a great host, very welcoming and gave us lots of tips/places to visit. The accommodation was clean, cool and had everything we we needed. We would definitely return and stay here again.

Really nice place in great location. Fabulous host, very clean accommodation, comfortable bed. With efficient air conditioning and windows there is no issue with noise at night if it is busy outside in this central location, which allows you to enjoy the wonderful city centre atmosphere directly on your doorstep.

Excellent location and a very clean apartment. Adriana was very helpful and she upgraded us to an apartment for our 4 night stay which was a very generous gesture. Excellent facilities, Highly recommend.

Really wonderful place, the room was large, bright, impeccably clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen was convenient and spotless, and the location could not be better. Adriana and Filip were very friendly and helpful with advice about the town and whatever I needed during my stay. I will be sure to come here again if I'm in Pula
