The grocery shop 5 minutes away from the guest house has been closed down for good. However, this isn't something the Host can control.

The host Anka was so lovely! Views from our bedroom were exceptional and made up for the distance between the house and Dubrovnik Old Town. The room had all the facilities you need - kitchenette, different types of coffee makers, fridge and freezer, sandwich maker (important if you want to save £ whilst exploring Dubrovnik), iron, hair dryer, beach towels etc. There is a beautiful little path to a private rock beach. It's a great setting for morning yoga or meditation. There are a lot of stairs and uphill walking but I saw this as an opportunity to increase my fitness :)

All good.

Our room/apartment was comfortably large and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Ancla is a cheery host and helpful with pointers. The balcony was spacious with stunning views over the Adriatic. Moreover, there was a stone step path through the lovely gardens down to the sea. Parking was no problem and supermarkets were several miles north with Dubrovnik just beyond.

Loved staying here, very tranquil. Clean comfortable and Anka was such a lovely hostess, she even brought me sweet cakes for Easter Sunday! So thoughtful. 😊 View from room was stunning!

We did like everything!

We enjoyed a lot our stay! The apartment is clean and convenient with a superb view to the sea and a balcony to enjoy the view. A staircase leads to a cozy beach. And a very nice and helpful hostess. We highly recommend this place!

Apartment was up stairs and the view from the raised patio was lovely. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the host was lovely. Beds were very comfortable and both were ensuite with air conditioning.

Although the apartment block was in a quiet location the proximity of other apartments and neighbours meant that there was sometimes noise of conversation when sitting outside.

The apartment had a lovely view and was located away from the main road in a quiet location. There were frequent buses and a mini market nearby. Our host was friendly and helpful. The small beach down steps from the apartment was super for an early morning swim.

Amazing view !! Lovely smiling host who offered is some home made wine upon our arrival, such a nice gesture ! Comfortable bed, balcony and you can cook with a tiny but fonctional kitchen. We came with our motorcycle and there is a parking spot. 10-15 mn drive to Dubrovnik old town. One of the best value for money you can find around Dubrovnik !

There was nothing we didn't like and would have stayed longer if time had allowed

The views were spectacular and there is a small pebbly beach reachable by walking down steps through olive trees which was an additional bonus. The owner was wonderfully helpful. She helped with bus time tables and ensured our stay was very comfortable.

Host is very nice and helpful, it really felt like home :) She even prepared homemade sweets, when we came. Apartment is super clean, and view from the room is beautiful. There is a lot of space in the interior, and you can also park your car just in front the apartment. We were so satisfied, that we decided to make our stay here a little bit longer.

Location is great for solo travellers as well as the ones who plan to explore the nature around! The bus station is nearby and very convenient. The host was extremely helpful and pleasant! :) I especially liked the fact that the place was quiet and far away from the crowds.

Excellent view and beautiful terrace. Very nice and cosy every bedroom has it's own bathroom . The host is very nice and helpful. Ten minutes to Dubrovnik by car. I strongly recommend.

Nothing everything was great

We do travel a lot but so far this apartment was the best. The views from 3 balconies are just amazing. Very good location between Dubrovnik and Cavtat. The apartment is very nice and have everything what you need - you feel like in home.

Tha location itself is a little bit off (Mlini and Soline) there are no facilities in a casual walking distance, but we were more than good with our food and with a short ride everything is accessible.

The Host is an amazingly kind person and the apartment was perfect, exactly what we booked based on the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen, bath, amazing view. The place has a private beach and we loved that there are not too many people or children. We even received some fruits as gift. One of the best places I have booked so far!!!

We loved staying at Guest House Fontana. On arrival we were offered cold or hot drinks and were given lots of useful advice from our very kind host who spoke excellent English. The apartment was large and well equipped with three balconies which gave fantastic views over hills and sea. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed that it was in a quiet location not far from Dubrovnik.

Such a great experience with Fontana guest house. Exceptional place to stay, silent and clean with gorgeous view of the sea. Hosts are very pleasant people always ready to assist if needed. I sincerely recommend this family house as a first choice in Dubrovnik area.

Don't be put off by the remoteness of the location (or, if you are, book somewhere else). We found it easy to get Ubers everywhere and they were very cheap: £5 to Srebreno, £8 to the airport or Cavtat, £12 to dubrovnik. There is a bus as well.

This is a quiet and pleasant place with a spectacular view and three balconies to enjoy it from. The host is lovely, sorts out problems, replaces towels and helps with rubbish every day. A real treat.

Amazing views. Wild beach close to the house and you can find nice places around. The restaurants nearby. Very friendly and hospitality host. Dubrovnik is not far from the place and is worth to visit.You can get the bus or go by car.We enjoyed our staying very much.
