The only option to have a coffee is the machine in the hallway, with the worst coffee ever. Make sure you have coins for it too. No food or drinks are allowed in the room, so no minifridge... I had to drink lukewarm water... My biggest disappointment was the mattress. It had collapsed on the left side and made it impossible for me to rest properly. My son had the same issue with his bed.

Very clean and spacious. The location was very good, a short walk to the Zagreb Cathedral and main square. The staff was polite and helpful.

Location is really good. 15 minutes walk to the city center. Close to public transportation. There are many supermarkets and restaurants around. It has a cozy yard at the entrance. More like a hotel room than a hostel. Quite comfortable.

The room is pretty basic for this price. There are no toiletries, nothing except towels (not even the glasses for the water)... During the night it was pretty loud.

The location is just perfect, very close to the center. The beds are pretty comfortable.

The room was on the ground floor so there was a bit of noise from the courtyard but this didn't go on too late so it wasn't a big issue.

The room was clean and a good size. It was very well located for the Old Town in Zagreb and was within walking distance of the railway station and bus station. The staff were very flexible and let me leave my luggage as I arrived much earlier than I had expected. There was a supermarket and plenty of places to eat close by.

The hostel has a great location. It’s not located directly next to the road, but in the yard. So the tram, which very often passes through Vlaška Street, is rather a distant murmur than a real noise

The WiFi does not work in room 1, and the hostel are aware of this problem. It needs an extra booster installing. Previous guests have commented on this, in their reviews, and annoyingly, I didn't read them all. I am an older single female traveller, so my evening entertainment is Netflix, and planning my trips, and it wasn't possible to connect.

Location great. 10 mins walk into town. 20 mins to bus station. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfy. Had a coffee dispenser in foyer which was great.

No communal facilities but you aren’t allowed to eat or drink in room - makes it a bit tricky with hungry teenagers

Nobody answered the bell when I arrived past 22.00 due to train being over an hour late. Once I got the code to work it was fine though. Bit of a dodgy walk from the train station late at night in the dark. I only briefly saw a member of staff at reception once, there never seemed to be anyone there if you had questions or anything. Mattress had a big dent in it could probably do with replacing.

Self check in was easy enough once I got the code to work. Location is good for main attractions but not ideal for walking to or from the bus or train station late at night. Really clean and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch although I did get the feeling they may have just been things previous people had left behind.
