Fantastic Island. Full of history. The rooms we had were huge and had everything we could want. The views are magnificent. The staff, waitress, waiter, receptionist, porter, cook and boat captain were EXTREMELY helpful and attentive to our needs

Every single aspect of our stay in Spongiola was exceptional. The hotel has everything you need and more. (Haven't seen the indoor pool, though, because there was really no need.) The staff is wonderfully accommodating. It's a relatively small but well-staffed hotel, so you receive a near-royal treatment, starting with getting you to the private parking on the shore, ferrying you to the island with a boat (which you take you back to the shore basically at any time), having beach loungers reserved for you, providing fresh beach towels or drinks on the beach... The fact that the beach is right in front of the hotel makes life easier if you're with kids. The room (suite) was large and very clean, nicely though slightly old-fashioned furbished, and the mattresses were really comfortable. All common areas are clean and nicely furbished, too. Breakfast was (only) good, but dinners were regularly great, even for kids.

Delicious breakfast with a wide choice from fresh fruit and vegetables to a wide choice of croissant and breads or cereal laid out to choose from. Plus, a cooked plate of eggs of your choice. Super views of the sea dividing the island from the mainland with bobbing boats.

Spongiola was heavenly! A beachfront property with absolutely every amenity and friendly staff that ensured I had a care-free and relaxing stay. The rooms were super comfortable and clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and the team made me feel right at home. :) I also took a diving course during my stay, which I can sincerely recommend. No matter if you're looking for a vacay by the beach or a more active holiday, the team will be there to help you and make it a fabulous time. Thank you all so much and hope to see you again soon!

Parking issue needs addressing. Psrking too remote! Some facilities offered with hotel are actually third party and opening is demand dependent.

Very quiet, unique location, added to adventure, stall very helpful and eager to help.

Nino and Marco are the best!!! in general; all staff is very friendly, everything is so flexible. The beach was perfect, clean and the food was delicious!!!

The only thing I could comment on would be the the absence of a shower screen in our bathroom. I would also suggest updating some of the room furniture to more modern standard...apart from that everything else was amazing.

Location was great for a chilled family holiday, Small beach directly in front of hotel with beach bar:). The island has about 4-5 restaurants all very good, no cars which which really gives you a total feeling of relaxation when your out with family. I like the staff, very friendly and happy to help with anything. If travelling back to this part of Croatia I would stay at the hotel again. We didn't have a car so only visit the local Aqua Park approx. 6km away, KrKa 16km, and Sibenik 8km, we managed easily via taxi. Also if travelling by bus from Split you can request the driver lets you off in Brodarcia which saves from doubling back from Sibenik. Taxi's from mainland Local Taxi - Expensive Hotel Taxi - Good value Uber - cheap but unreliable

Dear all,this place is the BEST we have been!Absolutely PERFECT for family with kids.PERFECT service,nice and CLEAN hotel,TOP food in the hotel restaurant! And the price is very good for this TOP hotel!! Nino and his Team are doing their job very,very good always with a smile and nothing is a problem! We will definitely come again!!!And dont wory that the ferry is needed-Nino will take you as many times per day you would like to,alway with smile even in the very early morning to late night!Thank to all of you for perfect holiday!!

We spent a wonderful week at the hotel. The room was big and tidy. Breakfast was plenty. Lunch and dinner was extremely good - compliments to the kitchen crew. There are no cars on the island which makes it the perfect place to relax. The mainland is only a 5 minutes ride with the hotel ferry away. You are brought to and fro from morning til late. The staff was very helpful, especially Mario - the charming "feel-good-manager" of the beach area. He welcomes oncoming guests (and gives a helping hand to those who arrive with their own boats and yachts) and he takes care that everyone feels comfortable at the beach.

the rooms stinked from the drain which was fixed by adding some parfume to the room which is not what you really expect being on a holiday to get fresh air by a seaside, otherwise excellent

The room is pretty big with nice balcony, small beach with umbrealas and sun beds right in front of the hotel, complimentary ferry service to Brodarica, nice breakfast

Nothing to complain.

We spent our summer vacation at the Hotel Spongiola, the location is wonderful and staff was always helpful. The breakfast and dinner were really good and diverse. There is a small pebble beach in front of the hotel where water is perfect for kids there with an area where the water is not to deep and the kids can play safe. We plan to come back in the next years.
