Property is dated and a bit run-down. Shower handle broke and even though maintenance came right away and we could take shower in room next door, they didn’t offer a discount.

In the welcome folder found in the room, only a description of the a la carte menu was given which we learnt was available only in the a la carte restaurant. It was not shown at all that there was a second restaurant and that the other 'restaurant' had a buffet menu with a set price. Despite asking several members of staff about the two restaurants, it wasn't until we asked one of the waitresses that an explanation was offered! The buffet breakfast was Ok, but the buffet evening meal was disappointing. The beef soup was tasteless and the main course food, although a good variety, was mostly cold.

The hotel was in the park, making the entry to that very quick and easy. The hotel gave us a second day's entry to the park at no extra charge. We arrived early, and although our room was not available, we were checked in, and then we were able to go into the park, returning later to our room. The meal in the a la carte restaurant was excellent and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and generally very helpful.

We put the do not disturb tag on the door. Housekeeping still entered the room while we were gone. Upon our return, a number of his medication pills for his ADHD were missing. these are a controlled substance because for people without ADHD, they act as speed. Housekeeping manager argued her people would not take them but someone did, and it was very coincidental they were missing out of his toiletry bag that was hanging behind the towels. We followed instructions on the wall that if you did not want fresh towels to hang used towels on the towel rack which we did. Our towels were removed from the rack and fresh towels were in place. Other housekeeping items were not disturbed. We also locked the patio door and upon our return, it was left standing open. Too coincidental. Not sure we will stay here again even though it was a decent facility and other staff was great.

Wonderful location. We could walk to entrance 2 in 5 minutes, walk route E at 3:30 and have a beer on the terrace by 6 pm. Much nicer in late afternoon with few people than our experience experiencing crowds from tour buses going the opposite direction at 10 the next morning when we did route F

A shuttle service from the E1 gate to the hotel. The evening buffet service was excellent. Very close to the national park. The staff in the hotel were nice and cooperative.

I read a review somewhere that they can come pick you up when you arrive at the bus stop (12 minutes walk away) but when I tried to arrange it via booking.com messaging, no one replied me — you'd have to call them I guess. It was a bit scary walking on the road with luggage and all the cars 🥹 ... but they gave me a free ride when departing. I've heard the staff be quite curt to multiple guests. The gym was stuffy when I entered and I opted not to use it because it didn't have good ventilation.

Clean place. Good wifi. You book this place because of its location so close to the entrance 2 of Plitvice. The breakfast was grand. I didn't use this service but you can get a one-day ticket and they will extend it until you depart.

the front desk guy, who didn't hep us to take the luggage from the car and also asked to move the car far from hotel entrance, even he noticed that we are unloading the car, wasn't any intention to leave the car there

Reception staff needs more training. They need to learn customer service, even how to greet guests. Very cold and abrupt. Turned us off and made our stay a bit bitter.

The hotel is just a few yards from the entrance to the park! Great location! The park is gorgeous even in the rain. The hotel food was good in the ala carte restaurant, and the breakfast buffet had good offerings.

To get to and from the lakes entrance and bus stop you have to walk 10 mins on the main road with all the cars driving past. I dont mind the walking itself, but that walk on the road was a bit scary especially when visiblity was low (on the turn) and cars didnt see you. The other 2 hotels are exactly in the park entrance, so you don't have to walk on the road. Also although it was a pleasant stay, it is quite over priced due to its location on the lake. If I had a car I would probably go somewhere else near the lakes for a lower price.

The decor of the entire place was a bit grim.

This is not a hotel you choose for the room or amenities, it's all about location. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable but had all the charm of a hospital room. The breakfast was fine, not outstanding. However, none of that matters when you can walk 5 minutes to the park entrance. The spa was a nice bonus, with steam, sauna and a tiny pool. Be aware that they will charge you to get in even if you have just checked out of the hotel-- I think it was 8 euro for 1 hour access.
