The water in the indoor pool is still annoyingly cold. Sometimes chaos when serving breakfast.

Pools, beach, quiet place and staff. I am glad that they withdrew from the stupid concept of walet parking and again I was able to park my car myself. The choice of food on the beach and by the pool has improved a bit compared to previous years. The mobile phone ordering system is great, but it still needs to fix minor bugs.

Very unfriendly concierge. After a run in the morning I asked him for a bottle of water, which normally is never an issue in such hotels and common standard. He just said no, the bottles are only for leaving guests and I can go to the bar (which by the way was closed at 8am) or the breakfast buffet, which is not very helpful when you are sweaty.

Rooms are nice and meet 5star hotel standards. Breakfast is ok, but not outstanding and service takes a while.

This hotel is very mediocre, the general level of service is not up to the expected advertised standard. - Had flashing LED lights in the bathroom, reception desk has no one to resolve the issue at 21.30 pm - Bathroom toiletries, only one large towel for one person in a double room, again short on soap, shampoo. - Bedside Phone on the blink, could not call another internal room using 5 + (room number) The bigger issues were on check out. Despite the hefty room rate, having already given a cash tip in the restaurant(30 euros) you are charged additionally for these items on checkout 21 euros for service cleaning rooms. 15 euros for outside parking behind a roadside wall. 15.29 restaurant service charge on the only dinner meal, having already left a cash tip. The standard of Food presented was ordinary, way too much salt in the rissotto, chicken breast rather cold. There is an industrial rattling sound emanating from the garden at night, makes open door sleeping difficult, probably hotel heating or air systems. Hotel chef and management could go to Half Eight in Novigrad, and re-skill.

The french fries are notable, not much else.

After reading negative reviews I said let me ignore and try the Hotel as it very close to golf course and my son has lessons there . Upon arrival the doorman already told me ( in native Croatian as I am from a village round the corner) they are very understaff and he needs to run to next customer; then upon checking in nobody to show you where the rooms are located or offer help to get there ; But the worse was on the way out when I check out they said they need a prove that I paid ; So I have to walk back to the room and look for my invoice to show them ; The Hotel Manager is obviously not connected to the front staff and I never wright negative feedback but this is absolutely unacceptable for so called 5 star Hotel

It was not a beach front hotel. There were properties in front of the hotel. Not at all as on the pictures. Strong smell of chlor from pool in the room. We had to pay for the stay before we could see the room!

Staff and services are not appropriate for 5 star hotel. You have to ask/phone for everything, bathroom gels included. Nobody is welcoming you, helping you with the luggage etc.. You have to ask for everything. I was advised by another guests (frequent visitors to Kempinski) that hotel has been sold to another owner and services are getting worse from year to year (definitely not compatible with rising prices). Restaurants are extremely overpriced, but you have other choices in the area.

Hotel is very nice, rooms are comfortable, pool and spa are very good. Breakfast was OK. Golf course is very nice for holidays and easily accessible from the hotel.

Food, food and once more food. If you are food lover and know anything else about food beside pizza and french fries then Its just sub-par on all levels. This is supposedly a 5-star resort but the food is simply 1.5 stars. I am not making this up. Breakfast is awful, no blueberries, no fresh fruit at all. Desserts are bought from a company in italy that sells packaged desserts for hotels. I work in travel so i know about these things. Not one chef prepraing omlettes for example like that waas done a few years ago. I found a fly in my olives. Pineapple was old and smelled of alchocol. Simply not fresh food. I also bought their lunch in restaurant dian i think it is. I took beef cheeks and octopus. That was good but the main dish was beef steak and some other beef thing. And let me tell you, that was not a pleasant texture at all. It was hard and full of hard things, like it was frozen. Paying 50eur pear each steak, you expect atleast a decent one. They also said it ws their food supplier and things like that but i dont agree with that. Its your duty and job to do things properly and all of the days were like this. And as mentioned this happened to me before as well, so its not the first time. I tihnk they made some shift as organization when covid hit and they are still on that regime. I sincerely apologize i have to write this but you literally had years to fix this and they clearly have not fixed it. This is the missing piece of this resort and then it will be perfect. Get on it. Like today. They need to visit their friends at kempinski portoroz and check their menus and eat there to see the difference. Start with octopus, take their beef black angus dish, take chicken ceasar salad. Thats a good indicator of how they do it there. Hopefully you tke this seriously since i am sure people will enjoy good food and come back for more. Food is joy and you have all the requirements to do so with such magical place.

Location is amazing. Hotel is amazing and beautiful. Staff is great. Its like a magical place that needs someone proper to run their food department because that is almost horrific lol honestly, dishes i make at home are better.

Please stop misleading people that the hotel is right on the beach, when in fact it is separated from it with villas and a main road. The hotel and its facilities need to be updated because everything is a little bit datedx We booked a deluxe room with sea view and our sea view was the villas roof. Breakfast is definitely not a breakfast you’d expect in a 5* hotel. Poor choice. Prices for dinner are extreme for the food you get.

    A pleasant stay.

    The worst hotel ever!

We have booked a premium room but when we entered the room we have realized they have gave us a family room that has been separated only with one doors with the other part of the room. The other part of the room they have also rent to the people that we didn’t know. So the hotel gave one big room to two different families and we were separated only with one normal doors. So the whole time we could hear other people in the other part of the room, especially during the night when they have decided to have a room party. I’m pregnant and I needed to have a sleep and to rest but instead the night was full of loud voices and yelling that have made me stressed. During the night I have went to the reception desk where I was informed by the receptionist that we are sharing the room with other people because they were fully booked, so they decided to give one room to two different group of guests. No one inform us that we gonna share the room and now one asked if that’s ok for us. Such a behavior is unacceptable for a a five star hotels, I’m traveling a lot and always choosing a five star hotels but this is the worst hotel ever and the worst experience ever. The staff was not helpful at all and some of them have been rude and impolite. We have left a day before because no one was willing to find a solution for a sharing room that we have never agreed to have. We been charged for a Premium room that we have never gotten.

Food options are limited, although room service will make things off menu. High charge to upgrade room considering the hotel was not busy which we didn’t bother with. Not a lot to do in the area apart from golf, you need a car otherwise quite isolated.

Hotel is modern and well set up, staff are very helpful and nice

The service at the restaurant was really slow, one of the waiters in the restaurant didn't know how to cut a steak. Two waitresses at the bar argued about who worked harder in front of me as I was paying for my bill. Not professional at all. Not enough beds at the beach to accommodate all guests and the hotel wasn't even operating full capacity. Guest would come and reserve their beds with towels and personal belongings then leave for hours and staff didn't do anything about it. Half of the sun umbrellas were broken. No AC in the spa rooms, just a fan that ruined the experience with the noise. Hotel is dog friendly yet you can't take your dog anywhere. There is only one terrace he was allowed at. For a 5 star hotel we had higher expectation especially after paying for executive suite.

We had a beautiful sea view from our room. We've been welcomed with Prosecco and chocolates. The staff prepared little dog bed and bowls for our dog. Housekeepers were nice and thorough with cleaning. The breakfast buffet was good, not really a 5 star breakfast buffet but good. The hotel is 1 minute away from the Golf course.
