I booked 9 months ago into a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the park. I actually got a ground floor suite with a terrace overlooking scrubland right next to the noisy lifts and a disabled access bathroom which, when you turned the shower on, flooded the bathroom.

The front desk staff behaviour was horrible and they lie about everything. If you book for less days they will just try to give you bullshit view and not so clean room and charge you way more than what was the price for the bullshit room. Also staff is super rude except the summer interns who are bringing your car from the parking. They gave me elegant room for the premium room price and not even bothered to pay the difference back.On asking they just gave me free car parking of 28 euros. I paid 922 euros for 2 nights for an elegant room and the front desk mistakenly mentioned that the cost for 2 nights is 738 euros around.Also I checked through Booking.com site about the room rates.

The outside beach was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast was great too.

Some staff behind reception counter are more interested in chatting amongst themselves or playing on their phones as opposed to helping customers and greeting them with a smile. No espresso machine in the room, but when you look at the view you just forget about the lack of coffee machine

Incredible views, beautiful beaches, beach club is great and very lively, gym is very well equipped which is a rare find. Staff at the Spa, marina restaurants and sports bar all very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast experience is the best we've had at a hotel.

For a 5star hotel the the property is extremely basic and the rooms are very outdated especially the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was poor quality. The minibar in the bedroom was empty

Staff not so friendly or helpful. Only the concierge people were fabulous. I had a Junior suite, kind of small and bathroom not very functional. At breakfast buffet Staff not very helpful.

The entertainment area like swimming pools, fitness center, beach and restaurants were great and beautiful.

couple of years since we’ve been and the design refresh is exceptional. bedrooms much improved plus the addition of the two excellent restaurants plus an amazing seaside bar area have really elevated this to a tip top level! highly recommend

Staff at reception were extremely unpleasant, never a smile on their faces and everything was a hassle. I booked a sea view room expecting it to be a marina view room as advertised in the photographs but this was not the case, I asked to change to a marina view for at least 1 night of the 5 night stay and was told it was not an option as other people had booked them. There is no option to book a marina view room, they are only advertised as sea view (very misleading). Prices of food and drink are extortionate. There is not a lot of other food options in the area. While Google maps states the hotel is a 15 minute ride from the old town of Split, it can take up to 40 minutes during the high season.

We received rotten fish as lunch, with the room service. The fish really smelled very bad, the waiter confirmed. I travelled with 3 children and I received rotten food, in a 5 stars hotel. And it is very very expensive, on top of that.

Impression given that beach area part of hotel - not the case and no security to stop people using pool areas. Sun-bed areas packed - difficult to get to inside pool - needed to walk round many sun-beds as directly in front of stairs - access blocked

Breakfast good. Location - needed taxi to main town £50 each way. Would be good to have a shuttle service. Many 5 star hotels I have stayed in have this. No complimentary transfer taxi to/from airport. Price for food and drink expensive compared to local area

Breakfast was amazing, many options. The beach is very nice, the sea is very quiet. The pool has view to the sea, which is super nice. The facilities of the hotel are great, we mainly enjoyed the saunas.
