If you like a remote area then that‘s the place to go. Very close to the National Park which is worth a visit. The host is a very nice person and he cooked me very good Wiener Schnitzel.

I kind of wish the smoking prohibition indoors had been adhered to. Although it was posted as prohibited, on couple, who usually did it outside were allowed to smoke at one dinner. This same couple had car trouble and were helped by the proprietor.

I liked that I had to use Google Translate to communicate with owners. Why? Because it made the experience of being with a genuine local and real. I learned how to use it in an easily shared conversation. I also liked that the home is in a small village and near a wonderful nature reserve. The care to prepare meals for me, what I wanted, didn't want (meat), and whenever I wanted from their own garden was outstanding. Being personally taken to the nature reserve and to an, ATM was above and beyond service. My work as a customer service consultant for major corporations like Ford, BMW, Harley Davidson, etc. qualifies me to describe this experience as a real treat, but only if you if you want to learn about the Croatian culture.

Many thanks to the host who waited for us late in the evening. This is all that we hoped for and our expectation were even surpassed with a welcome drink. The distance to the highway is very short. The hotel is reasonable, not too much, but more than enough for a stop over on a long ride. Thank you!

We never were able to figure out details of the $11 meal advertised on our confirmation printout but the a la carte dinner was reasonable and delicious.

A little bit off the main road but with signs along the road so fairly easy to find. It was in a neighborhood of beautiful large farmhouses, from new to abandoned wood houses and near a nature park. THe house itself was out of a fairytale, new and rustic with handmade details and artwork. A few animals on the premises and a vegetable garden near the house.THe host was very nice and drove us to the nature park so we could walk back before dinner. Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed. Dinner in the attached restaurant, which was a la carte, was delicious, with salad from the garden and homemade pastry for dessert. Breakfast (included) was enormous. We just needed a place to stay enroute to our destination and were very pleasantly surprised.

The hospitality, the owner is really a nice guy. It is close to the motorway and your car is really safe here. The food was great with local produce directly from their own vegetables garden.

Very noisy. I have no idea how they got this rating, but I don’t think it deserves more than 6.5-7. Very small, cold rooms. I had to dine in my room and was prohibited from the restaurant, because somebody was celebrating something in the restaurant. Very humiliating…. Not worth value for money!!!

The shower sprayed everywhere and needs to be renewed. Breakfast was ok but for 105 euro's per night all in all it was too expensive. For that kind of money you expect everything to be quite spot on.

I've travelled all over the world and this is absolutely the worst place I've stayed at for the price I paid. The room was so small that we could not open our luggage. It was very cold and I asked the host to put on the heating. He came out with a thermometer which showed that it was 18 degrees C downstairs which was "normal". Nevertheless, he turned on the heating but turned it off within an hour. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The bed was large enough for one person, not two. The place did not accept credit cards, so my partner had to drive around to find an ATM in a place where there are only little villages. I was feeling sick and that's why I asked for heating. It was very cold. In the morning, I went down in my coat for breakfast. The host told me he was hosting some kind of event in the breakfast room and led me outside to have breakfast. I was just amazed by the impudence of someone who was charging 70 euros and claiming to have a 3 star accomodation. The maximum this deserves is 2 stars, if that. I have asked Booking.com for my money back. The host greeting us with the local liquer, and then proceeded to tell me that it was available for sale. The whole thing was just disgraceful.

It wasn’t clean, toilet seat was broken and I was nearly falling from it. Charged €90 per night and it is so expensive. There was big mosquito and another insect in the room. Heating wasn’t working. Breakfast wasn’t so great, cutlery and plates weren’t clean. It has amazing garden and dining area though

Location is far from the town centre but nice and dining are is good. Staff was good.
