Well located on edge of Senj, 5 min walk to bars etc. Lovely room, comfy bed good shower brilliant chatty staff as we found throughout Croatia. Great breakfast spread, short walk to castle. Excellent.

Due to the language barrier it was a little difficult to experience the usual exceptional welcoming hospitality from the owner and the kitchen staff, but Semir showed us the incredible warm hospitality I have experienced throughout my life during many stays in all of the former Yugoslavian countries. He and his server colleagues made sure we were treated with personal attention to our needs at all times during our stays. This was the reason we stayed twice at Hotel Medusa this summer, and will return in the future. We did have a bit of a problem reaching the hotel via phone and communicated this to the receptionist who assured us it should not be a problem in the future as the hotel will be open year around for the first time this coming year. The receptionists also made us feel very welcomed at this family hotel.

The property is in a very nice location on a hill with beautiful views of downtown Senj and the Adriatic Sea. It has a wonderful restaurant with an outdoor terrace overlooking the town and sea. Bringing up the luggage the front stairway is a little difficult for those who travel with a lot of luggage but from the reception it is easy to the rooms via elevator. The amazingly kind and friendly young servers and receptionists, especially Semir, were all immediately willing and offering to help us carry our luggage up the initial flight of steps. Rooms and bathrooms were very nice, new and exceptionally clean and comfortable for our needs. Parking is very close to the hotel. Wi-Fi service was working well especially for those who are working while traveling, depending on reliable internet connections. Excellent breakfast - especially the kolači, and freshly made palačinke as well as the made-to-order egg variations - in addition to a very nice breakfast buffet with tasty delicacies. Dinner was very tasty and the Pršut is one of the best we have had (and we try it almost everywhere we visit in this country :) The server staff is amazing, attentive, hard working, friendly and Semir and his colleagues were personable and made sure we received all we needed with great kindness, which made our stays unforgettable experiences!

Parking places were not outlined, so sometimes 3 cars occupied whole parking lot intended for 5-6 cars.

There is no kettle in the room to make a tea or coffee. Also despite having breakfast included in the room rate we needed to leave before 6 am and breakfast didn’t start until 8 am. There was no provision for a “take away” breakfast which would have been a nice extra service if available for the price (e.g a croissant, piece of fruit and a fruit juice would have sufficed).

Very comfortable and spacious room that was very clean. It’s location is perfect and car parking a real advantage.

Wonderful hotel, very friendly helpful staff. The rooms were big and the air conditioning worked perfectly, we all had a lovely cool night sleep. Parking available for motorbikes outside the front of the hotel. We utilised the laundry service which was awesome as it helped us being able to fit 10 days of packing into our small luggage space. Very close to the beach. Beautiful views. Great restaurants in Senj. They let us arrive early and had a little room for our bike kit as the bedrooms weren't ready. Very helpful
