Th location in the old town was perfect. The room (#7) was on the top floor and there is an elevator or stairs, depending on how energetic you feel. One of the staff met us at the free parking place (!) near the old town and carried our luggage to the hotel. The staff was wonderful, so warm and welcoming and full of good suggestions for places to eat and visit. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!!

United StatesThis was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had and we’ve travelled to many places around the world. The rooms were very nice, clean and included a piece of history in the stone walls inside the rooms, which was all excellent. But, the biggest factor in our experience was the staff. They were all Incredibly helpful, genuine, kind people available 24/7 to ensure we saw what was most interesting about Split, ate the best food in the area and had a smooth travel experience. We traveled in April, where they offered a discounted rate for our stay and there were also much fewer tourists. 10/10 would reccomend and hope to be back.

United KingdomFabulous historic hotel built against an original wall of the Diocletian Palace. Beautifully designed modern room with outlook onto an historic square. Excellent bed and Ritual bathroom products. In the middle of the old town, walking distance from all attractions and restaurants. Superb staff who cannot do enough for you. Great breakfast. I would highly recommend this exceptional boutique hotel for your holiday in Split!

A wonderful hotel. The building and our room were lovely. Exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The breakfast was great with almost too much choice. The location at the heart of Diocletian’s Palace meant we could wander round the sites at our ease. But the best of the experience was the staff who could not have been nicer or more helpful taking a genuine interest in our well being. We hope to stay again and are encouraging other family members to visit.

Murum, while small, has by far the best five star amenities we encountered in Croatia. Location IN Diocletians palace was soooo convenient, the staff was outstanding, helpful and kind. Parking was free and a representative from the hotel met us and transported us via golf cart. The breakfast was wonderful, with many cold selections as well as special orders from the kitchen. Love the nespresso in my room!
