Like the other reviews say, the room are cramped - particularly the 4 bed mixed dorm. If all 4 people are in the room and have their suitcases / bags sprawled, it gets a bit hard to move and have privacy. This is the only reason I don't recommend this hostel for long stays - short stays are fine. The kitchen is the only socializing space which I didn't mind because it means this place did not turn into some party hostel. But if you want a party hostel, this place may not be for you. The hostel is on the 3rd floor of an old residential building so not recommended for folks with mobility issues.

The location is absolutely perfect - the hostel is walking distance to the waterfront/promenade and situated right next to the palace and eateries. It took me 10 mins walk to get to the main bus terminal. The staff is friendly and sent very clear instructions ahead of arrival on how to find the hostel because the streets of Split can be confusing especially with old buildings. I requested a lower bunk and they were happy to reserve one for me. The kitchen is fully set up to cook a meal or make tea/coffee. For the price I was paying, all the facilities and accessibility to main tourist attractions was very good. The toilets, even though there's only 2 of them, were kept regularly clean. We had a situation with another guest in the room who was making others uncomfortable and the staff/owner moved quickly to resolve it quickly.

Only 2 bathrooms for the whole hostel. We didn’t end up having to wait too long but in busy periods could be an issue.

In the centre of split old town so as soon as you walk out the door you’re surrounded by shops and SPAR is only 2 min walk away. There’s a hostel cat which is super cute. Pillows and bed were very comfy and clean. AC was much appreciated. Kitchen is well equipped. Live in staff member was on top of everything so props to her!

The rooms did feel a bit congested, could be a nightmare for claustrophobic people.

The location of the hostel was perfect. It was in the backyard of the Diocletian Palace. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The cleanliness was well maintained.

Complete lack of social space? There's a small kitchen, and one table, but no couches or anything.

Inside the Old Town, the hostel is a one-floor apartment on 3rd floor (with no elevator) with two bathrooms to share with all flatmates (not an issue during non-peak seasons). Cleanliness for both bathroom and kitchen/common area are better than expected as a hostel. Generally flatmates during my stay are better behaved. Private room is spacious and clean. Those Balkan flights of stairs, repeated smoking within the hostel and no central gathering place for guests, except a small kitchen, which amplifies noise in the hostel and the rest of the building. No after hours onsite management to enforce quiet hours which inconsiderate guests ignore, even at 2:00 a.m.

Great location in the palace old town area and close to the train/bus. The hostel was very inexpensive and provided the basics. There's a kitchen area for socializing. Sweet little kitten to remind you of home!

Small common area. Beds basic. During my stay one of the bathrooms was out of order (due to the door being stuck on its hinges) leaving the entire hostel with only one bathroom, meaning an often long and frustrating wait time due to other inconsiderate guests.

The were closing down for 10 day's to repair stuff like the shower door of the second shower. So I had to leave the hostel way too early.

It was super easy to find with the description provided by the hostel. My late check in was very well taken care of, with a personal note and a towel on my bed. I arrived near 23.00 in a warm hostel kitchen where two guys were playing chess. After my tea I could lay down without any worry and dream away. Nice hot shower, if you make sure the boiler is turned on half an hour before (switch is in the bathroom) Lovely tree legged young cat. And super super clean. A shared flat, home away from home. Met some real nice people there.

The door of one of the two toilets was out of order. So only one bathroom/wc for all the customers is clearly not enough! I guess this was ponctual and would be repaired soon.

The room was tiny. The bed swayed a lot when roomate moved and therefore I was forced to wake up for a few times.

Excellent location - it's located within the old town, so you can explore or come back at any time. Nice kitchen for social and cooking facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all in the dorm room - it only works in the kitchen and near the Check in area. Only two toilets in the whole hostel

Great location right in the middle of the old town. Nice guy on check in and big lockers in the room. The best thing is the hostel has a friendly car that is happy to be stroked.

But the bed.. Oh the bed.. Making noises, so you can not even turn.. The room for 4 is so tiny, no place to open the suitcase..
