Rooms are too tight for a mixed dorm experience. The rooms can have a better ventilation.

Smooth check in and clear instructions. This is a hostel at a good distance both from a good beach and from the city center (20 mins walk on the left or on the right). Breakfast was good and bathroom provided privacy. Good fridge where you can keep your food and drinks. All in all an amazing value for money place.

- it can be pretty noisy when a container ship is unloaded the whole night through, right opposite to the hostel

+ wonderfull old villa + all the (basic) comfort one can expect, when booking a hostel + amazingly sound absorbing window (keeping the harbour noise out, more or less) + AC doing a good job to keep temperature bearable (inspite of closed window) + walking distance to city center

The real problem is the fact that the hostel is quite a ways out of town. It is important to know there is a bus from the vicinity of the main bus station to the hostel. It is the # 1 bus. It stop a few hundred meters from the entrance of the hostel. My experience was very bad, as I was not aware of the bus, and walked for 1.5 hours. There are stairs from the street to the hostel, and stairs in the hostel. Just to be aware.

Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Room was great. Private bathroom was clean, and well maintained. Entrance has lots of information available. Recycle in more than one area. Room to sit outside with tables and benches available. Breakfast in the morning. i missed it, as I had to catch a bus.

The surrounding are quiet ucle. The shipping area makes a bit of a noise even in night.

Location is a bit out of the way but not massively - you are a 20 minute walk from central Rijeka and a 15 minute walk from the shopping centre in the other direction, but beaches are closer.

Really friendly hostel, the staff were helpful and good to talk to. The room itself was a standard hotel room with bunkbeds and lockers - no complaints about any of that.

Lovely location, walking to basically everywhere. Sweet beach 15min walk away. Great space in the room. Great, friendly, helpful staff.

There's not many bars / cafes / Restaurants around the hostel (on the plus side, this means it's quiet at night). OK, and the hostel is a little rough around the edges, a little old school, but as I said, I enjoyed that.

I quite enjoyed the vibe of this hostel. It's an old school, original youth hostel, where you get your bed linen and make your bed. There are lots of single beds, so high chances for lower bunks. It was easy to meet people, and the location is a convenient 10min walk from center. However, my highlight was the breakfast: best included hostel breakfast I've ever had, with a huge selection of different cereals, bread spreads, drinks, etc... Loved it!

We were lucky to find place for parking but it seems tough task to do it on weekdays. Hotel is near port which is really noisy that's why at night it is not possible to sleep with open windows and there is no air conditioning. Towels are not included into the price

The room was super loud during the night, because of the industrial harbour infront of the building. We couldn't close the window, because then it would become too hot. It's a little annoying that there is no kitchen, but I knew beforehand, so not a suprise.

The women at the reception was lovely! Really warm welcome. The beach is not too far away, but if you walk a bit further, you get out of the industrial harbour zone, and have nicer beaches to enjoy your time.

The location is a bit far from the city centre but there is a regular bus service.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped me to book my next hostel stay. The room was simply furnished and very clean. The windows kept out the noise from roads and the container port. The shower and wifi worked well and there were enough power sockets. There is a tiny beach nearby for swimming.

The ensuite bathroom in the room and the free lockers that were big enough for big luggage. I had the opportunity to store my luggage at the hostel after my checkout. Friendly staff

There weren't a lot of people, not any special atmosphere. Probably not the best place to stay if you are looking for social contact. The hostel is also quite far from the citycenter (25 min walking).

I booked a bed in a dorm, but due to some circumstances I could stay in a private room. Bed was comfortable, the hostel was near a beach. Staff was friendly.
