Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere was nothing I didn't like ;-) Truly, everything was great. I even liked the idea of two seperate buildings and not having a lift because it gave it a more authentic feel.
The pizza was wonderful and I brought 2 friends with me too who also loved it. The arrangement for bike storage was safe and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

United KingdomVery poor soundproofing; could hear everything said in next room. Poor ventilation in bathroom. Sitting area dark and uninviting with no view.
Very good breakfast and friendly waitress. Gave us bag of fresh fruit on departure day as we had to leave too early for full breakfast. Central location in quiet part of old town.

IrelandParking was the only issue and there is nothing the Hotel can do about that due to the island being a UNESCO site. There is parking provided by hotel, for a very small fee a short walk away, approx 7min, less when wooden bridge reopens.
The staff were amazing and above all, the two staff members that we had the most contact and assistance from were Catherena and Tina. They were amazing and went over and above to be of assistance and understanding during our stay. Cant remember the guy on reception on our arrival but he was also amazing. We actually stayed in hotel again a few days later, subsequent to our original stay, we enjoyed it so much. Definitely will be back.

NetherlandsMost of the staff give you a ‘Balkan style service’. Which means no service at all. There is no place for rude, unfriendly and unhelpful staff in a 4-star hotel. The communist days are gone, you now have to work for your money
Location is good

FranceI stayed one night in this hotel due to a business trip and since I was travelling alone for the first time, I was a bit unsure about the whole stay! The hotel provided excellent service and the rooms are very clean and calm. Also the breakfast was extremely nice and I got a free airport transfer the next day to Split airport!! 10/10 I can only recommend this place and I would always come back!!

United KingdomThere was nothing that could have added to the experience, a wonderful relaxing spring getaway.
The hotel is centrally situated in historical Trogir close to the promenade and many wonderful restaurants. Our breakfasts consisted of local food of our choice, and whatever we requested was provided, even that odd English request of tea!

DenmarkIn fact, nothing at all. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed - at least for the public, but as far as I understood it was possible for guests at the hotel to order dinner (had to be ordered in the morning). However, I did not use this option, as I have a bit of a hard time deciding in advance in the morning where - and when - my dinner should be eaten. But I would have liked to have tasted the food at Pasike, which has received a lot of praise from previous guests.
Fantastic cozy hotel in the old town. I had a room with a balcony on the 1st floor (room 15). Since there are ‘only’ stairs in the hotel, the 1st floor for me (which is not so good at handling many stairs) was ideal. There was a view of the Rosegarden / park opposite the hotel, down to the water, the mountains and Trogir's district on the mainland, connected to the old town by a wooden bridge. The room was super cozy, the bed was good, nice bathroom, the air-con was really efficient. The breakfast was really good with a nice selection of cold things, but it was possible to get fried eggs or scralmled eggs when ordering from the staff. All the staff at Pasike were incredibly friendly and service minded. Lovely quiet terrace / bar if you need to relax a bit after a walk on the hectic promenade along the water or in the beautiful narrow alleys in the old town. Nice service with free transfer from and to the airport. Would definitely recommend hotel Pasike if you want to stay in the old town of Trogir.

GermanyNothing!!!
We felt like home. Everyone was very friendly. Tina was always very helpful and fast like a robot :) She was able to organize everything. Thank you very much for that. We can recommend you a room with breakfast and dinner. The dinners were amazing (three-course dinner). The cook has a mega talent. Service in the restaurant was quick and very nice. We did not hear the planes at all in the room, even though the planes are flying over Trogir. We spent a beautiful holiday there. PS The entire street where the hotels are located is payable. The first 20 minutes are free :) Good for check-in and check-out.
