You can enjoy the sunrise and sunset in the small living room of the room. The room is very spacious. The owner actually let us check in at 8 o'clock in the morning. It is really a Buddha's heart. We took Flixbus from Budapest to stay at Zagreb for one night and then arrived at SLUNJ at 6:10. It was really tired! The boss provided us with information about the ride to the Plitvice lake, but found that the seat was gone on the Internet, and was very nervous. I was very nervous and could not call Uber. I called the boss. He was working outside and immediately drove back to explain to us. It was really right! I taken FlixBus at 6:10 so can't clean up the room, I'm really sorry!

Great location walking distance from Rostake and a 20min drive to Plitvice. The host was great - very friendly, welcoming and informative. The room was large, warm and comfortable.

We loved the property and the surrounding town, Rastoke is beautiful and it deserves a stop before reaching Plitvice National Park. The owner is very helpful and if one day we return to Croatia, I try to stop again in the area.

Very friendly owner, clean room, extremly clean bathroom. The place is close to several restaurants, the owner suggested "Bistro Centar", and it was a really good suggestion. The food was tasty and the price was reasonable. The owner also provided safe parking for our motorbikes. 10/10

Millard and his lovely wife were fantastic. They were very welcoming and helpful. The location is spectacular with a view from the garden overlooking the river and it is well placed in the heart of Slunj. I look forward to staying here again next time I am in Slunj

Host was very welcoming & friendly and made us feel comfortable at once. We enjoyed talking to him the history of croatia and the area!! Big room , ground floor, no stairs (the properties we stayed in slovenia n gacka had narrow steep stairs which make carrying heavy lugguages challenging!!!), bold colour (we had tge orange room) with matching blanket, curtain. the set up of room was well thought. it had a good fridge, kettle n mircowave oven too in the room! That made it convenient for guests to access these basics in own comfort. very very local and we enjoyed walking around joining locals at the cafe next door! there was a market the next morning. very small but there was a stall selling fried meat! we were happy to see ways of croatians' life. if we go that way again we will definitely stay longer. we highly recommend Room Modrusan!!!!

We had only one night here, but you can easily stay longer. Rastoke is beautiful. Nice restaurants and bars and beautiful situated amongst an abundance of waterfalls and rapids. Also very nice to raft down the river. The room is spacious, very clean and when you open your windows you can hear the sound of the river. If you don't want that, close the very good insulated windows and it is quiet. The owner is a nice guy too.
