Portugal13 reviews1 helpful vote“Perfect affordable place to spend the night in Dubrovnik”There was nothing I particularly didn't like. Just be aware it's around a 40-minute walk to the old town (you also have public transportation), and you have to go up lots of stairs (like everywhere in the city) to reach the house. This is not a social hostel, it's perfect if you are looking for a place to sleep. There is only 1 bathroom and no mirrors outside, which can be messy if there are lots of girls there, but it didn't give me any trouble during my stay.
I really like how cosy the space is, and the view is amazing!!! The bathroom is huge and very well equipped with hangers for each person as well as space to put our stuff. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe there, and the host (he is a male) treated me like I was family. He helped me cook dinner and let me leave my luggage for the day and shower after I checked out. I also needed to do some laundry, and there was everything needed there to do it. In the kitchen, I had everything I needed, and despite being a small fridge, there was plenty of space for everyone. Be aware that the kitchen is only for light meals. The location was very near the bus station and port, which was helpful. There are also lots of supermarkets and restaurants near by.

Italy18 reviews8 helpful votesDisappointing• In the description they say it's a female dormitory and, yes, you sleep in a room with 2 girls but it's an apartment where there are 2 men living. There is no privacy at all. • There are too many stairs, not only to arrive to the house but also it is at the fourth floor with no lift. • I needed to pay card but he wanted only cash and I never got a receipt.
