How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Property was quite hard to find at first. At nighttime could be quite noisy but was only once or twice.
Property had everything you needed, microwave, plates/cutlery, dishwasher, hob, washing machine and towels & toiletries provided. The balcony was an additional bonus to sit out on whilst getting ready for going out for dinner! It was easy walking distance to all parts of Split. Marija was an excellent host and went out of her way to accommodate us!

Everything was perfect
The location of the apartment was perfect. The room was very clean and shiny and our landlady was very kind and helpful.

Nothing it was perfect.
Gorgeous design and furnishings. Very comfortable bed, lovely shower, great air con. Very very clean and tidy! Marija is the perfect host, she is full of local knowledge and very accommodating with our check in and out times. With her advice on places to go, food to eat and the spectacular view point in the city we had a great stay.

The owner Marija was very welcoming. She provided us with all of the thinhs we needed to know in our stay. The apartment was siper clean, convient and next to a bus stop. I have nothing to complain about, would definetly return again!

The only thing that were a little less, were the pillows. They were a little too thin and difficult to find a comfortable position but that was the only thing.
The location was fantastic, next to the old center and nice bars and restaurants but calm not to have too much noise. The appliances were fully covered with an iron, washing machine, cutlery, balcony, drying rack, etc everything to feel at home. The host was also so kind and eager to help with any question or problem. And finally, the bathroom and hygiene in general is one of the best of where we have ever been.

The apartment is located a stone's throw away from the most happening parts of Split. It's pretty neat and furnished with necessary amenities.The blind out curtains were the best part since we had to sleep till afternoon (after some late night parties) Marija is an excellent host. She recommended a few good places nearby for having food. Her suggestions were top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Marija was an unbelievable host. The fridge was stocked with drinks, biscuits and all manner of toiletries and towels and was readily available for any issues. Provided us with great recommendations from tourist sites to food and restaurant recommendations. Great location too.

Marija was very helpful and gave us all the important recommendations. The room was clean and even though we didn't book an apartment she let us wash our clothes in the other room when it was free. She was super energetic and kind. For our departure she explained how to transfer to the airport the cheapest way etc. She gave us many insightful tips so to say!

Everything was perfect!
Marija was the most perfect hostess you could ever have! The location is unbeatable. The flat is super comfortable, with all the facilities you need. It´s a perfect place to stay and enjoy all Split can offer. Marija gave me all the best tips for tours and restaurants. She also helped me with the airport transfer. There are so many amazing things to do in Split!

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect and Marija was the best host ever, she was quick to reply and gave lots of recommendations on where to go. The studio apartment exceeded my expectations it had everything we needed and was very well presented and very clean. Would highly recommend.

Nothing, everything was perfect
The room and location was perfect! Marija the host was super kind and welcoming, she was so so helpful with showing us the room and giving us recommendations of things to do and restaurants to eat in. She is such a great host! The location is a short walk from centre with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room itself was very clean and modern, everything was working and even had black out shutters on the windows. The TV was a great size and even had netflix. Very comfortable bed too. Wifi worked great too. I will be recommending this place for my friends in the future when they visit Split.
