The in-room instant coffee was gross.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The room was huge and comfortable. L’occitane products very nice. The pools had many loungers. The staff were easily visible. The breakfast was delicious and high quality.

Thought the prices of meals in the restaurants were very expensive.

The room configuration was fantastic as well as our view. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast every day.

Too many children but this is not hotel fault. Older staff from restaurant need to smile at least.

We have lovely and amazing days at Royal Princes, Dubrovnik is such an incredible place! We were during summer so we got the best tanning and swimming into the blue Adriatic Sea. The service of the all staff (reception, bar, cleaning ladies) was excellent and kind; honorable mention to Danilo (Zoe Restaurant), Pavlao, Nenad and the lovely girl form Mexico during breakfast.

The hotel claims that it is a five star hotel, but for a five star hotel it wasn't quite there: - Breakfast service was always very chaotic. Food was extremely basic (and wasn't refilled in timely manner) and absolutely nothing exciting, would rate it 3.5 out of 5 which for a five star hotel should be something to ring their bells. - Have mixed feelings about the reception staff. Although, mostly everyone was very polite, nice and helpful, I felt very uncomfortable when I was chased by the staff asking if I had forgotten to check out before leaving, while I wasn't leaving anywhere. Also, during our 4 day stay, at least three times I saw guests at the reception trying to dispute charges that were put on their rooms incorrectly. - It is extremely strange that in this day and age the hotel asked to provide my card details on a piece of paper which is quite an unsecure way of storing such sensitive data. I declined to fill the form in, therefore, I was advised that I won't be able to put any charges on the room.

The views were amazing and that's what the hotel charges you for. Rooms were clean and tidy, house keeping did a great job and was very efficient - we always found our rooms already clean after breakfast. Nice SPA area, beautiful "beach" area with sun loungers facing the sea. Staff at the bar were great and made us cocktails that were not on the menu.

In early May some of the restaurants and bars at the hotel were closed but understandable considering number of guests

Excellent hotel , linked to four others so you can use all the facilities, pools and bars in the other hotels - one had a superb alduts only roof top pool . Amazing views and bus stop outside which takes you straight to the old town for 2 euros .

Breakfast was decent but not five star level. Dinner was in a nearby restaurant and had extremely limited choices and not an amazing quality. View from the restaurant was good but not worth the price for these meals. Hot water in the shower was hard to get right. Overall only tiny remarks on a very good stay.

Room was magnificent and impeccably clean, staff was super kind, several pools to choose from. Amazing view, very comfortable bed.

Outdoor pool was not clean but we stayed beginning of May. Breakfast was only ok-have had much better at 5 star hotels. Comments above are minor quibbles: we loved our stay.

Large rooms. Very clean. We had seaside view which was wonderful: each room has very large windows so you can lie in bed and see the sea.

Breakfast was very crowded and not working (many foods not available any more at 9 am). Food at the breakfast not at the same level as the hotel.
