Not really a negative but I would say that San Canzian is not specifically set up as a family/child friendly resort (and doesn't advertise itself as such). The fact that everyone was so friendly and accommodating meant that this really didn't matter to us and there were definitely other young children at the hotel. Some families might prefer accommodation that is specifically meant for families with young children though.

San Canzian is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of Croatia. We stayed in the three bedroom villa which was modern and luxurious without being characterless or out of place with its surroundings. The staff were friendly and endlessly accommodating. Our children were 1, 5 and 9 when we visited and the staff always made sure we were looked after. The restaurant was also very good and the concierge extremely helpful with suggestions for places to eat and activities we all enjoyed. We would love to go back.

The fact we needed to exit our room due to repair work. First the hotel communicated it would begin at 09:30, so we went to breakfast and for coffee. Returned at 11. Repair men showed up then and we needed to exit the room for 2 hours. I understand it is not easy to arrange external workers. However, then the room should have not been set for reservation...

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had a situation where we needed to exit our room for 2 hours due to some repair work, which was quite unpleasant. Ladies at the reception really went out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible, organising massages, etc. Thanks ladies for that! Good breakfast.

A truly exceptional experience. Felt pampered from arrival to departure. Warm welcome and help with luggage with small golf electric car was amazing. Room decorated in nice modern- village style, with many small details. Luxury cosmetics, welcome note and cookies, and many other nice details. Great breakfast with local and fresh food, all was 1st class and super kind staff both in restaurant and reception. Great location for enjoying Kozlovic, Kabola and other wineries, enjoying Istria, but also visiting Venice with only 2 hours distance.

Starting from splendid breakfast encounter, having maximised in-room experience (clean 100%, best equipped, designed to fulfill the environment in the most prestige way), Mr. Pantovic and the restaurant crew exceeding restaurant operating service and skills by far (!)... couldn't ask for more. Most employees were very friendly but it was not possible to provide a bigger table for the room service (even though they had multiple). I would expect more customer centricity at this price point.
