How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Location within 5 minutes walk of Old Town gate. Modern, comfortable room with secure parking. Great value for money. Lovre was extremely helpful and friendly. Both of his restaurant recommendations were awesome. Highly recommended if visiting Zadar.

A view of the windows to the construction. Really hard to find. Perhaps, this is the reason why GPS/Google map can’t find this building -some roads are closed and another way is hard to be find by GPS. Only Croatian channels are available.
Exceptionally clean, elegant, comfortable in every detail. a lot of different light in the bathroom. Helpful host.

Cute, nice and clean apartment. great location: in 5 minutes from the historic center. A lot of area around. Places for parking cars, walking around, many restaurants coffees. I really liked it

Amazing bed and enormous bathroom with floor heating. Smart TV with possibility of watching Netflix, Amazon and Disney+. Sea within 5 minutes walking distance. Restaurant Harbor Cookhouse, just around the corner, had a very good breakfast

Please tell everyone your TV has NETFLIX. Trying to find the correct parking ramp upon arrival was a bit difficult but manager met us outside to guid us.
The attention to details in the room were exceptional. There were so many nice bonus features like a few drinks, accent lighting, NETFLIX, room safe, closet lighting, the TV was one of the best we have ever seen in a hotel room. Very safe security set up for the parking and common areas. Elevator. High end feeling. Very close to the city for fun but no noise from the city. Real breakfast available at the harbor restaurant for $5 -$7.

There are construction works on the street, making it bit noisy in the morning. Hopefully will be finished soon.
Everything else was great, comfortable, new, clean and neat room. Garage is very convenient and complimentary clementines were exceptionally tasty.

Very little.

booked via booking.com in EUR. That was converted by the renter to HRK (with a bad conversion rate) and then by my bank back to EUR. As a result, I paid 4 EUR more than shown on booking.com. Renter should use the same exchange rate as used by booking.com, not a worse one.
free drink in the refrigerator, very clean and comfortable, parking included and very convenient.

Nothing, there was nothing I could fault about it
location was superb, so easy to walk to the old town. Parking very secure, room very very clean and bed very comfortable, Lovre met us as soon as we arrived and there when we requested to leave the following day to open the garage for us.

The owners were extremely nice and welcoming taking us first to the parking and then to the apartment. The accommodation is right next to the city center and is extremely new. Highly recommended. The check out at 10 am was a bit early for us, but quite manageable.

Wouldn’t want to stay here more than one night
Room was clean and comfortable - the gentleman who met us was super helpful. Slightly odd in terms of the building - but easy to get into town and the parking was handy. We used the washing machine but there was no where to dry anything except the main balcony - which wasn’t ideal.

Very helpful owner who recommended us restaurants and activities in the centre. The owner met us at the front of the building and first showed us how the parking works and later showed us the room. Location is perfect ~ 10 minutes into the old town. The rooms were clean and modern. After check out it was possible to leave the car at the accomodation. Everything was perfect!
