If you want to cook it's not possible as there is no stove but it didn't bother me. There is a fridge and microwave and a kettle.

The room was spacious with a changing canine. Big lockers for the backpacks. The lady at the reception was very kind. It was clean.

The host of the hostel was very polite, friendly and ensured that I was well looked after. The facilities were always clean. I arrived late at night around 11:30 but checking in wasn't an issue. The hostel is quiet, 10 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from Zadar Old Town. The bus station is also 15 minutes walking for easy access. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone going to Zadar.

The top bunks are a bit difficult to access. A small shelve at the bed was missing and would be really handy.

Great location just a few steps from the old town. You get all the important information during check-in. Great value!

For those who prefer a more social hostel experience, you may want to look elsewhere. That being said my trip was out of season and many people came and went.

The only thing I missed was a stove with an oven in the kitchen.

Very fresh hostel with 4 beds in each room quite close to old town. Stirdy bunk beds and large lockable cabinet for each bed. Staff very friendly and also informative on things to see and do. in the area.

As someone who's very tall, the bed was just a tiny bit too short as the pillow was huge. Plus the bed wasn't the comfiest. A curtain would've been nice for the bed too.

I stayed in the females only room. The rooms were nice and spacey. Fresh air daily. Nice big wardrobes with a lock. Clean and safe.

Just as a recommendation, better if curtain and/or parapet put on the upper bed in order to prevent the one from falling in a possibility.

The lady at the reception was nice and friendly, introduced me the surrounding area and how to get to the old town as well as other handy stuff. And the hostel was very clean, the bathroom was spacious and bright. On top of that, the hostel located near bus station and shopping area. Also it’s easy to walk to the old town and beach.

The only slight downside was the limited cooking facilities. As someone who enjoys self-catering, a few more amenities in this area would have been ideal. However, this was a minor issue compared to the many positives.

The location of the hostel is pretty great. While it's not right in the historic heart of the city, it is close enough to make all major attractions easily accessible, providing a perfect balance between convenience and a quiet environment. The modern comforts in the hostel truly set it apart. One feature I found particularly impressive was the inclusion of a changing area in the dorm room, complete with a curtain for added privacy. This thoughtful touch shows that Sky Hostel really considers the needs of its guests, catering to those who prefer privacy when changing — a rare find in hostels. The staff at Sky Hostel were incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived. They took the time to outline key attractions on a map, providing personalised tips that enhanced my exploration of Zadar. Their friendliness and readiness to assist with any queries made my stay smooth and enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hostel deserves a special mention. Every area of the hostel was immaculate, which made for a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

A cosy hostel only a 10-minute walk from old town. There are plenty of places close by to get essentials and dine out. The facilities were nice and clean. The host was very lovely, had a lot of knowledge about the local area, and was always nearby to help if needed. Overall, it was worth the price I paid for.

the hostess was very nice and helpful, I immediately felt at home. It is small-scale but you will not be short of anything. Not in the old center, but close, for me the location was perfect.

Everything has been fine. Of course you have in mind that it is an hostile and that you cannot choose the people you were staying with for my two day trip. It has been no problem at all.

Really clean and new hostel. Just five minutes walking distance to the beach and 10 minutes to the older town. really friendly and nice host showed me everything and told me what activities you can do. You’re staying in rooms with four. Everybody has a huge locker with a key. Also there is free coffee and tea available and the possibility to use a microwave or sandwich toaster you can also use a fridge.

Pillows were too large and firm. Mattress was little uncomfortable as well. Not an actual kitchen, just a sink, microwave, toaster/grill and fridge/freezer.

Super convenient location, near mall, shops and a short walk to main bus station or downtown Zadar. The owner/caretaker lady was very kind, showed me around and made me feel welcome and comfortable. They have only 3 rooms, 12 beds total, so it’s a homey feel. Not a party place, which i love because it felt quiet and safe. Common area, bathrooms and room were very clean and functional. The bed was sturdy (i wish there were curtains on bed for privacy. I used my eye mask to block the light so i was fine) and there was changing block in the room with large mirror.
