Nothing - it's perfect!

Apartments Sven is a truly beautiful place to stay and enjoy the magic of the Plitvice National Park. Silvana is the perfect host - she anticipated all of our needs, even stopping in to sort out a wifi issue late in the evening when my kids overloaded the bandwidth with too much streaming. The unit has an easy to use kitchenette with all the things you'd need to make a simple dinner or breakfast. The rooms are spotless and beautifully appointed, with comfy beds and shelves to keep things. Having a room with twin beds was especially nice for our kids. There's one large, comfortable bathroom with a towel heating rack. I haven't seen one in years but it was an absolute luxury to have a warm towel since it was a little chilly during our stay (in April). You can't go wrong with this amazing place!

Everything was great. It's close to the park, and you can easily walk there. From our room, we can see the waterfalls so that was a huge plus. The host was very very friendly and even helped us to carry our bags upstairs. Highly highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic property with great furnishing and comfortable beds in a brilliant location and a short walk to entrance 1 of the Plitvice national park. The owners were really lovely and helpful providing good advice for the walk around the national park which is really stunning. The views from the house are great as it is across the road from the main walking area. Ensure you book Plitvice tickets in advance and get in early. Very easy to find the house as it is clearly marked off the road. Ensure you play ball with ball loving Aru the dog who lives in the owners property on the site.

Silvana was an incredible host and has great recommendations regarding the best ways to enjoy time at Plitvice Lakes. The guest house was beautiful, and had all the comforts needed. Very clean and well cared for, the outdoor spaces were incredible, complete with sheep on the hillside, a friendly dog and cat, outdoor seating areas and well tended gardens. Such a lovely place and the 5 minute walk was so convenient. I will definitely choose to stay here again when I return to Croatia next time!

Perfect in every way Clean and comfortable Great host Walking distance to entrance 1 There is a path on the other side of the road about 10 m parallel to the road. Better than walking on the road but DON’T go past the do not enter sign. You have to take the path before back to the road and enter the park through the official entrance gate.

The TV had mostly German TV channels, and although I speak German, my kids would have enjoyed some English channels too.

The location is about 500 m walking distance from Plitvice Park, and everything was great. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen had all the facilities to prepare our meals. The hosts were very helpful with information about visiting the park and about restaurants and places to visit in the vicinity. You have a lot of privacy because there are no other houses in the area. We will definitely choose Apartments Sven, if we will visit Plitvice again.

Perfectly located just steps to the National Park. You can either walk and will be at entrance 1 in about 5-10 min or you can drive and it’s only 2 min away. Hosts are so helpful and lovely people. They gave us all the tips to visit the part and responded all our questions around the area. The place itself is beautiful with 2 bedrooms on the top floor and a little living, dining and kitchen as well as the bathroom in the bottom floor. It was so tidy and clean for our stay!

Thank you to the hostess who kindly welcomed us with a bright smile, including hospitality, tourist information and additional explanations. My mistake was a reservation for only 2 people instead of 3. So we had to add one more person, but she added one more for free. I really thank you so much once again. The location is super, with picturesque views of the waterfalls of the Plitvice National Park from the veranda and 300 meters to the park entrance.  So even though we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm, we had enough time to enter the park at 4:00 and complete the F-course. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, excellent value for money and friendly hostess.
