Have ti say Hotel really nice. Very clean. Staff are very helpful. Prices are good . Seaview was excellent. Nice room The whole outside area of the hotel is lovely on the sea. Great stay. Will be back. Bar staff are very good. Perfect.

Didn’t cater for vegan breakfast, and the bedroom was very chilly the first few nights. I asked for a blanket but it was a flimsy thing so didn’t make much difference

Lovely clean basic room with a fabulous view across Lapad bay, slippers and fluffy robes were a nice touch. Bed extremely comfortable. Pleasant staff. Able to sign into and use my Netflix account. Plentiful and decent breakfast: hot, savoury and sweet. Bus stop right outside, although Lapad in itself is a lovely place to stay and explore, a seaside feel and lots of bars and restaurants, felt we got more bang for our buck staying there. Bus only 2 euros each way but free with the Dubrovnik pass. Would recommend Hotel Splendid and definitely stay here again.

Splendid weekend getaway in one splendid hotel 🙂! Location was excellent, hotel staff was very nice, polite, welcoming and helpful, 10 out of 10 for hotel staff. Food was also great, rooms comfortable and clean with fantastic view. Bus station to Old town right in front of hotel. We would definitely come back again!

It’s not fancy and the bath towels are a little small and thin, but otherwise, this hotel is a great value and if we ever return to Dubrovnik, we would stay there.

Good breakfast, great coffee, perfect sized triple room. My husband and I stayed with my sister n law. We were happily surprised to see our triple room had a separate bedroom with a single bed. Also, 5 minutes away is a fancy $350/ night hotel. We stayed there after our night at Hotel Splendid for a tour. We all agreed if we were there on our own, we would have been very happy to stay at Hotel Splendid.

The liver that was served one night!

Beautiful views right on the Adriatic. We walked out and swam every morning. Close to shops and restaurants and easy access to the bus line to get to Olde Town.Enjoyed the breakfast and dinners that we included. Room was spacious and had a very large deck that we were on most of the time.

the presentation of the main building out front seems a bit outdated, especially the blinds they have around the hotel. the food was a solid 4/10

Buffet was a bit basic for breakfast and unappealing in evening although price was lower than expensive local restaurants but a la carte pasta was superb, brown furniture possibly needs a bit of a style overhaul and balconies and terraces more style appeal with plants or gazebos/bunting more wow factor sunbeds on tarmac should be included in price as only place in hotel to lie down

location on water is picturesque and easily accessible to old town by reliable efficient bus service - staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and bed cushions and decor contemporary

great location, quieter area with beach access. breakfast was basic in quality but lots of options. rooms were slightly dated but very comfortable and the view from the balcony was exceptional. staff were very helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage.

No lift/elevator, so had to carry our rolling suitcases up to the 3rd floor, but it was not too bad. I think the lack of an elevator was reflected in the lower price, compared to some of the other hotel options.

The view from our sea view room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. We had an excellent night's sleep after a long travel day. The buffet look tired and not appealing, so we ate at the hotel's outdoor a la carte restaurant. Our freshly prepared meal and delightful sea view was a great finish to our day. Breakfast the next morning offered a nice variety and included an expresso/cappuccino machine, as well. Very nice!

We had issues with bathroom..toilet did not flash good, the shower tub high be careful when coming out, the tub does not drain well and if you are counting on a great hair dryer don’t.

Location was great and the view from the room Not too much choices for lunch, the dinner was buffet mostly at least you had a bit more choice…but not over the top The staff was great and everything clean. The beach at the hotel was small but great as was the sea.

The smell of sewage every day from nearby area, and several nights of it reaching the hotel balcony. Landing hallway lights always on even in the day which seemed a sad waste of electricity.
