Excellent location in Lapad. Near the beach and other resorts but bus right outside to take you into Old Town that runs every 10min. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great buffet breakfast included. The pool is nice and you have access to other Valamar resorts including the President’s beach. Great view of the ocean from the hotel bar as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik position was at great spot, hotel is modern and accommodation was comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful, looking at sea and sunset. The staff, everybody that work in this hotel was accommodating and pleasant. Everything that we need, they provided for us.

A lot of walking from rooms to pool and beach. Beach is about a 10 minute walk through neighboring hotel. If you forget something, your screwed because it's a long walk in the heat.

Hotel was beautiful. Pool was very large and lots of beach chairs. Rooms were very comfortable. Hotel is close to town. 20 minute cab ride. Ubers are very affordable. Markets in the area - and they have everything you need. Breakfast has a lot of options. Beach is beautiful. They have beach chairs at a discount. Spent the entire day at the beach.

Breakfast had a huge buffet including as well the bio, vegan and the more healthy corner. Pools were amazing, kids were enjoying this hotel a lot. I love the spa, renovated, peaceful and huge. Overall really to recommend. And the view from the hotel is breathtaking.

Pillows were uncomfortable- spa facilities were expensive as were the drinks in the hotel. There are shops nearby where many guests purchased drinks and snacks. If the hotel was more competitive we would have bought from them.

Hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Beautiful views from the hotel and good to share the facilities with the sister hotel next door.

Pillows for the beds were not what I would expect for a 4 star hotel. Also post check out you are allowed to use the facilities whilst waiting to leave but pool side facilities are limited. There are showers but nowhere to get changed other than the cramped, wet toilets. Not a major problem but perhaps one worth addressing.

We loved staying in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and clean. The pool area was fantastic and we really enjoyed spending time there. The breakfast buffet was fab.

The hotel and its service is really a five star experience, enjoyed breakfast, enjoyed the pool zone, really liked that you can use the pool and beach zone of the other hotels (Valamar).

Outdoor pool spotlights have dangerous sharp edges. I cut my heel when I was doing stretches. I mentioned the problem to an employee who completely downplayed the problem. Parking is tricky. I put my car in the place indicated by the hotel staff. The next morning, another car scraped and left a mark on my car. Unfortunate.

The breakfast: food of high quality and diversity! Wonderful breakfast! The hotel is very well located. Internet connection is really good.

Would have been useful if some facilities (e.g gym, pool) were open 24/7 - we often didn’t have time to use them due to being out in the city all day

The hotel is in a fantastic location, a perfect escape from the crowds in the old town without being too far away. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. and there’s a bus stop outside which takes you straight to the old town, with services running late into the night. Attractive grounds and landscaping, and being able to use sister hotels’ facilities is a plus. Room was big, comfortable, modern with great air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of hot and cold food available, a bit busy around 9am but that’s to be expected in the height of summer! Staff were very helpful too and knowledgable about public transport, opening times of attractions, etc. Great gym but shame it isn’t open 24 hours.

The shower did not have pressure. The cleaning was often, but only on the surface, they never vacuumed the room. The beach was full of boulders, you could not get in the water without getting your feet hurt, so stay by the pool.

Almost everything was good. Service and food was great.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room was absolutely beautiful and so clean, as was the rest of the hotel and facilities. The pool is great with the different sections and the different levels to the lounging area was really lovely - didn’t feel like all eyes were on the pool. The food served at the restaurant was absolutely delicious every time we ate there and the included breakfast every morning was very luxurious.

No Balcony on the rooms, and the need to pay for for beds at the beach

Excellent facilities, hotels very high end. Disappointed to not have the request to have rooms together met, changed after discussion with manager. Not all rooms have balconies, which was also a shame. The breakfast and staff were very good

Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. House keeping tried to rectify this but was not successful. The room is in need of an update. Housekeeping was not always done to the standard expected.

The communal areas of the hotel are beautiful. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had. Bus stop very handy and time table for trips into town is great. Swimming pools are lovely.

I wish I could’ve found the other restaurants as the main one, although lovely , did not have a great selection for a teenager. The buffet was incredible but the size of portions my daughter and I eat, would not reflect the high price.

Both pool and spa areas are amazing, so relaxing and beautifully designed and set out, the Belle spa was wonderful and all the little extras like fruit and nut snacks were lovely. I don’t think I have every experienced being able to try so many facial and skin products too, that really is such a special facility.

The paint of the various corridors of the hotel needs to be freshened up.

Definitely an upper level hotel, very friendly staff, amazing breakfast.
