Location and inside very well decorated accordingly to the Palace. Toma and staff were super helpful and friendly. Spoke English perfectly.

Showering in each room at the same time would cut off the hot water quickly, resulting in a cold shower. Maybe the whole building has a communal use of hot water boilers. Just, that part was a little uncomfortable.

I liked the location and comfort of this apartment, and the attentiveness and kindness of the staff. I have traveled to 12 countries so far, and this hotel was the most comfortable. I also liked the breakfast cafe, and the duration of my stay was during the split festival, and it was also good to see the concert in the square right away in the living room of this house.

Superb! Beautifully maintained, the renovation and attention to detail in doing so is top quality. The fact that it is in the old town and has kept its historic feel was so wonderfully apt and authentic. A must stay.

Nothing. Fabulous apartment.

Extremely unique apartments, creatively decorated, ideally located. Perhaps not the best choice for anyone with mobility issues (steep staircase) or those who demand 24-hour-hand-holding concierge, but for those who really want to feel part of Old Town Split history, it doesn’t get any more authentic. Surprisingly quiet at night, too, given that you’re located in the heart of everything. Attendant was warm & welcoming and extremely responsive to ensure our timely airport transfers. Loved this place! Perfect for groups of friends or families.

Had an absolutely brilliant stay at Villa Nepos. As a group of 6 friends we rented 2 apartments on the second and third floors. Whilst the apartments themselves were fantastic, it was the location that stole the show - arguably the best located accommodation in Split. Also, Tomislav was great with communication leading up to our stay and organised a transfer for our group from the airport. The apartments contain everything that you need during your stay - highly recommended.

Location is awesome (see photo of the view from the room). The apartment is spacious and felt like a museum. You can see the history on the walls. The washer/dryer was really handy! Toma was really helpful and flexible with arrival/leaving time changes, and was easy to get in touch with. I like that they message a day early to confirm. Was surprised that the street noise didn’t seep through the flat considering it’s pretty central. You can hear the church bells though, which i assume you’ll hear throughout town. There were 2 breakfast options, I preferred the one with the entry via an alleyway than the one in the square. But if you like people watching, breakfast at the square is probably your go to.

Mate, gave us excellent directions to the apartment which was beautifully presented. Spacious, comfortable, quiet. Perfect location to all the sights and 5 min walk to buses and ferries. Anything we needed, staff were a msg away and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Property was beautifully presented, very spacious and clean and perfectly situated in one of the beautiful squares of the Diocletian’s Palace. The hosts were also really helpful and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It was faultless, Mate and Toma were so helpful, the location was unbelievable right in the centre. The double glazing and shutters meant it was super quiet. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was brilliant. The breakfast options st local restaurants were excellent.

The restaurant facility, down the street, where you have the complimentary breakfast was sufficient, but not as exceptional as the Villa. My suggestion is to go to the farmer's market in the afternoon (or when it opens in the morning) and pick up some fresh fruit, sausages and cheese. Then for breakfast, enjoy the freshest and best that Croatia has to offer. (The farmer's market is less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel.)

Villa Nepos is exceptional. Immaculately clean, impeccably decorated, large rooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen suited for cooking the amazing goods available in the nearby farmer's market and close to incredible restaurants should you prefer to eat out. The unit even had a washer/dryer! Mate, the host, was exceptionally accommodating and pleasant. If we return to Croatia, the Villa Nepos will be our home base as we explore that region of the country in depth.

The rooms were actually apartments, which was great as we were able to accommodate our group in two apartments (a one bedroom and a two bedroom apt.). This was a much better arrangement than a hotel room as we had more space. The apartments are well appointed and comfortable. The location is exceptional in the old historic center of Split and there is so much located within easy walking distance from the hotel - restaurants, shops and a wonderful large market a block away. The managers of the hotel are really great - very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Split.

This is an absolutely stunning space smack dab in the middle of Diocletians Palace. Gazing out the windows was like going back in time 1700 years. The location was a solid 10. The apartment was a solid 10. It took the design team, with The aid of conservationist, four years to complete this amazing apartment. You felt like royalty when staying here. Touches like a bust from the 1700s did not go unnoticed. We have stayed in much more expensive spaces around the world, but never Found one to match this location. BRAVO team!

Little bit nosy which no one can help as the villa is in the center of the old town. In fact, which didn’t bother me much.

Mr. Mate and his staff are super excellent. They provided all we need immediately when we asked. Helped us to bring our luggages to/from the villa as it is located inside the old town where cars are not allowed to go into. Very good breakfast arranged by the villa at the restaurant next door.
