The sockets in the wall were a bit loose in the living area and the kitchen. And the kettle had to be plugged in to the one nearest the floor as the lead was not long enough.

Great location and the added bonus of free parking. Very clean and super friendly staff. Had a balcony with a sea view . Free toiletries and towels. Had a problem with the air conditioning on the first night but was immediately rectified when we mentioned it.

There were a few little things missing that would have made the stay even more pleasant (e.g. the handle on the patio door did not work...). Also, the hosts could have shown more friendliness and helpfulness.

The house is beautiful. The apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable.

Not as relaxing as we hoped. Charming old building but suite in need of some renovation to feel comfortable. Unfortunately sitting on the terrace wasn't really possible due to street noise (but fine in the room with windows closed).

We chose a suite with an outdoor terrace to have room to relax. Warm welcome and lots of help with parking the motorbikes at the property which worked out fine. Nice outdoor communal seating areas. Good breakfasts (extra). Easy 10-15 minutes' walk up and down steps to the old town.

Could do with more storage space, no mirrors in bedrooms, although big one in loudge area, and bathroom. No teaspoons for tea!! Nice for a short stay, hand luggage, as we had.

Beautiful views from apartment ,breakfast was great wide range of choice ,homemade omelette! Lovely 😊very friendly and helpful staff .nothing was to much trouble.

I wish they have elevator at the property. We have to carry our luggage up to the top floor where our room is located.

It was absolutely fine for us but it was quiet a challenging walk up from the old town, which was my fault for not checking that out before our stay. However need to be comfortable with this if you pick apartment.

The safe were helpful, the apartment was much bigger than expected and extremely comfortable. We visited in Sept when it was hotter than expected and the air con was better than any apartment I’ve stayed in before. It was a god send!

Our room had a door which was almost out of order. The only way to close it was to use the keys.. Rooms are quite noisy due to the bathroom fan. If anyone goes in the night, it wakes up who is sleeping. This is quite annoying. The bathroom is so small that there is no room to simply lay anything. Parking lot may be organized with other guests due to the very little space available.

The position of this villa is outstanding, close to bus 8 and bus 3 to reach city centre or the touristic port. The parking lot that you do not have to pay is indeed a luxury, avoiding 20 euros of parking every single day. Staff is excellent and at our disposal for any need. Rooms are very clean, but I suggest to do something more for the floor.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like…

Perfect location just on the edge of the historic centre of Dubrovnik, offering a very comfortable and quiet retreat. The host was so lovely and kind to us when we needed help with some documents we needed for onward travel. There is also a safe, free parking space too (super helpful given how expensive and congested other parking options are)

The breakfast at Villa Dard was very nice. Besides the yogurt, croissant/bread,meat/cheese platter, tomato/cucumber plate, fruit bowl we were offered an omelette.

Location is close to the old town, but up a long steep hill with many steps. The hotel is quite basic, with small bathrooms and cramped rooms, but not too small to be functional.

Terrace area outside the room was a bonus. Clean.

It is right next to a very busy road so it can be noisy when you leave the doors open.

The host was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb - just what we needed before a long flight. The location was ideal away from the busyness of the old town but close enough to walk there.
