The scented flowers in the wardrobes were a little too strong.

The only minus point was the strongly scented towels and bed linen. Got an immediate headache when I arrived in the room. But that seems to be very common in croatia.

Very nice and hospitable owners. Good variety of food for breakfast with homemade jams. Very clean room and building in general. Well kept and maintained inside and out. Close to lidl and a restaurant. Great stay when passing through the area.

It was interesting for me to observe that the owner of the property heavily invested in property and made it very luxurious, but forgot to invest a little extra money in fire safety measures. The property is literally next door to low bushes and wood, that can easily catch fire. Yet, apart from having a fire alarm in the room and corridors, there were no other fire safety measures (i.e. evacuation routes, fire assembly point etc.) or fire equipment on site. No information on what to do in case of fire could be found anywhere in the room or building! The additional fire safety measures should be a common standard for such size budding, in such position, and I am quite sure that the owner can improve this by getting in touch and seeking further advice from a local fire brigade officer. These measures are not expensive to implement and can save lives. I also did not like the owner's tendency to get into political debates with me, using fake news media(mainstream TV) as his reference. There is no point in engaging in such debates. (Fake)Mainstream media news can create a stubborn mind, without critical thinking. In reality, it can only bring further division between ordinary people, and that should not be experienced on holiday!

The property is situated on the top of the hill, with beautiful wood surrounding and a nice sea bay view, just an ideal location for me as I was looking for a place further away from the noisy town centre. I enjoyed the everyday walk of a few kilometres to the town centre and to another place called Selce.Tip: Selce can be up to 30-50% cheaper to eat/drink than Crikvenica; it also has beautiful small and hidden beaches if you want some privacy and don't like the noise and crowds on the big beaches. The owners of the property are kind, they will serve you a very good breakfast and they will clean your room daily (regardless if you put a 'make up my room' sign on or not). The property is built and equipped in a luxurious way and appears to be fairly newly built. You won't regret it if you pay a little extra for a room with a balcony, The air is very clean and healthy! You will also be allocated a place to park your car or motorbike. There are 2-3 very friendly cats who enjoy welcoming and playing with guests.

The host is really doing their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was always abundant, and the place is really quiet (even though there's a main road close by). They also speak German and Italian, which is a plus if you are coming from abroad and use mainly those languages.

Super friendly staff, wonderful villa and rooms. Nice furnitures, bathroom and cleanliness everywhere. The breakfast is good and enough, you can reach any restaurant or the coast with a 15 minutes walking.

Very tidy and enough spacious room with small side balcony. Simple, repetitive but sufficient breakfast. Home made, tasteful jam. Good WiFi Friendly, welcoming owners. Admirable how both of them alone maintain so clean and functional that big house.. Free in-yard parking (limited) or outside Definitely worth the money for short-medium term stay

I need to write this review like a letter to two adorable people that treated us like their kids. Even though they are no longer in their youth, Ika and Josip are two lovely hosts who do everything possible to make the guest feel wonderful. Rooms are cleaned daily, the bed constantly smells clean, almost everything at the breakfast is prepared by them from the garden. Josip is helping with a lot of informations about money exchange, local stores, routes and Ika is preparing everything in the house so you feel perfect. THANK YOU BOTH FOR THE WONDERFUL DAYS

The distance to the sea - it is not far away to walk to the sea, however the road is pretty steep and crosses a busy road.

The accommodation was cosy - super clean, and the landlord very nice - breakfast was very nice, too. Nothing to complain about except for the distance to the sea.
