As car access was forbidden in the Old Town, the nearest public parking was about 400 m away. Luckily, we had help from the staff with our luggage. Due to its close proximity to a fish market, the narrow lane in front of the hotel became very busy early in the morning with noise from trucks and people.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was located right in the Palace grounds, about 100 m behind Riva Promenade. Easy access to nice restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was superb.

Wonder location in the center of Split. Super friendly and helpful staff. Met us at the garage as they said they would and helped with luggage to hotel (in pedestrian only area). Rooms are gorgeous. They converted a loveseat into a bed for our daughter to share our room. Every staff member was so friendly and went out if their way to be helpful. Breakfast was excellent. More than a buffet, you could order from a menu as well.

Enjoyed the central location in the old city. Loved the breakfast. Loved our room, great air con, beautiful furnishings. Comfy bed and pillows. Especially loved the staff. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The location inside the palace walls was close walking distance to everything we wanted to see and visit. The room was comfortable, clean, and cozy. Bonus having original stones from the wall in our room. We had large luggage and still had enough room needed. Breakfast in the garden was nice each morning. The staff were amazing and helpful. It was so nice to have access to coffee and treats throughout the day. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to return one day.

You had to climb 74 stairs. It would have be nice to know this in advance because my son had a broken leg and was on crutches. I also reached out to the hotel to cancel one of the rooms but they didn't. Still not too sure why and they made us pay for the room. I asked if we could get a credit for the room but I didn't get.a reply. I was very disappointed with how they handled the cancellation and the request for a credit.

Location was great. The room was large for 4 and clean.

The staff were wonderful starting with transport from the ferry dock to the hotel. The location was terrific for exploring the hive of streets in the old city and palace. The recommendations for dinners were also very good. After a week of vacation we were pleasantly surprised that our clean laundry was returned to us the same afternoon! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gem of a hotel to friends and family.

There was nothing bad.

The location is awesome, very central and the building is beautiful. The breakfast was really well done and staff was super helpful going to the garage and offering support in multiple things in the city, almost as a concierge.

This was the most memorable hotel on our European journey. They took such good care of us! Despite staying on the 1st floor near breakfast, our room was peaceful and quiet which was a welcomed surprise! Breakfast was yummy, filling, and romantic sitting in the little window. The staff were very professional and kind. I was worried to leave my designer purse with our luggage while we waited for our boat. She assured me it would be safe with her and it was! Exceptional experience. Would come back without hesitation!

This Villa was above and beyond what we expected. The service truly made our stay here exceptional!! All of the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. From the airport pickup to the fresh made breakfast, everything was incredible. The room was stunning and located directly in the center of old Town. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
