The hotel is in nice and peaceful area at the end of a small village. View from the room was beautiful overlooking the sea. There is also forest and trail next to the hotel which was ideal for a walk with our dog. Unfortunately it was too cold (we were there in March) to use the pool, but it was nice and clean. Host was super friendly and always available. Breakfast was also delicious. We hope to return!

Can't think of anything but maybe my stay was too short and had I stayed longer I would have fonund somthing, But highly unlikely.

The location is excellent with a breathtaking view of the bay and the Kvarner from the infinity pool. But the best thing about Villa Stefanija is the team, no better service possible.

A teeny-weeny minus was the lack of variety on the breakfast menu. Although delicious, it was pretty much the same every morning.

This is a gorgeous property situated at the end of a narrow country road that leads to the most amazing panoramic view of the sea. We had a standard room which was small but coquette, with a small (shared) balcony that let us further enjoy the sea view from inside. Cleanliness is at very high level, everything was spotless, even the pool water was perfectly clean all the time. We loved the pool as we had it almost completely to ourselves, no cram, no noise and, my favorite, no children:), though I believe this was merely a coincidence. We had dinner at the property on 2 occasions and it was delicious! And last, but not at all least, the staff was incredible! Kind & friendly and out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. I must say, with no intention to create any jealousy, that my no. 1 was Bon! A lovely stay, thank you!

The owner was a very gracious hostess. Our room was spacious with an incredible view. The dinner and 2 breakfasts were delicious! We liked the location, off the beaten trail but convenient to drive anywhere in Istria.

Quiet place on a special location. The host is soooo nice and kind. We loved the walking around, there is a great walking path taking you down to the spot where river Raša is entering the sea, the nature is breathtaking there.

We stayed 2 nights of season, the view from the villa is amazing and one of a kind, the hosts are welcoming and most kind, great breakfast, the room was designed tastefully, clean and well cared for.

Everything was perfect

First and foremost the view/setting is lovely. We booked one of the cheapest rooms which was still large - big bathroom, nice sized bedroom and a separate dressing area. Everything was of high quality, and the choice at breakfast was great. Everyone was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The dog was a particular highlight for us, too!

Due to the hot weather (40 degrees C.) a number of things can happen. Air conditioning did not always work well. A lot of glass on the sunny side, is nice but with heat difficult. Many wasps on the terrace, and also inside.

Beautiful villa, idyllically situated on a hill with infinity pool and great views of the bay. Restaurant has a good kitchen. Outside dining from dusk until night. Quad room was large and divided into several rooms. A nice place to end your holiday before flying back home. Pula airport is 20km away.

Even though all rooms have seaside view which is a big advantage, there is a slight problem when you have your room windows open because under the windows and balconies is their restaurant which is quite loud. Especially early in the morning (from 7:00) when people eat breakfast and late in the evening (till 23:00). There were children screaming and people talking very loud while we just needed a break. Because of nice and cool summer evening temperature we had our windows open instead of running air condition.

Host was extremely nice and polite, she showed us around the house when we came. The hotel all in all is really cute, the whole design concept is modern rustic and the pool (and patio) is big and clean. Can not forget the breakfast - it was exceptional.

Our stay at Villa Stefanija was exceptionally beautiful. First of all, of course, it is the breathtaking view from the pool terrace, from which you just can not tear yourself away. But also the warmth and friendliness of the staff make you feel at home from the first moment. We were perfectly taken care of the whole time. The clean rooms are furnished with a lot of love and definitely live up to the attribute "boutique hotel". Breakfast was served at the table on the picturesque terrace, so no "battle at the buffet", which we appreciated very much. For dinner, the kitchen prepared a menu with a few variations for starters and main course, all always highly recommended. The wine list should also leave nothing to be desired. In short, definitely one of the best hotels that we enjoyed on our trip through Croatia, and which we certainly recommend.

Location is stunning but do have to have a car to get around.

Absolutly stunning hotel with breathtaking views ! The owner can't do enough for you and makes you feel so comfortable and well looked after. We ate in thr restaurant few nights and it was very good quality meals. Breakfast was lovely spread every morning with fruit and yoghurt, pastries, bread, cereal and they make the best scrambled egg!! Hotel has very easy parking. Good sized rooms, clean and comfortable all looking over that stunning view. Couldn't fault the hotel at all just as the location is out of the way a bit must have a car to get around for shops, restaurants and days out. Barban which has a food shop and few restaurants is about 25 minutes walk away which is fine in day but very dark at night so we choose to drive which is only 4 mins journey and easy parking in barban. All other places to visit in istria are pretty much under an hour drive away and roads are really easy to drive on. Would defibatly recommend this as a wonderful place to come to stay to relax and enjoy as well as explore Istria.
