Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Irelandfirst room we were given had a very uncomfortable and creaky bed and the bathroom was tiny.. we got no cooperation from most of the staff at reception when we asked to change rooms until we met Valeria who arranged a move to a larger and much more comfortable room.

United KingdomWe didn’t actually get to stay in Hotel Vis - on arrival a sign on the door directed us to its ‘sister hotel’ where we actually stayed. While it was winter (we were travelling through) and so I understand there is no point running two below capacity hotels, I don’t understand why they didn’t just advertise and sell rooms for the sister hotel through winter. We were concerned when we arrived to a completely dark and closed building until the found the sign.

United KingdomThe hotel needs some facilities in the rooms, such as steam iron and kettles. The air conditioner is not great. Unfortunately, there was no lift but we managed it well.
Very clean hotel!!! Amazing staff, everyone treated us very well and always smiling which makes such a difference. I don’t know the name of the cleaner lady that was cleaning our room, but she’s SO sweet! Reception team were absolutely helpful. Restaurant food was good. Bus stop in front of the hotel, beautiful sea view.

IndiaNo elevator. We had to lug our luggage to our room on the 3rd floor. Even the approach to the hotel from the road involves a descent of about 30 steps. No platform to roll the suitcase down, instead we had to carry it on the stairs. Single plug point for charging phones. No fridge or hot water kettle for bed tea/coffee. No water bottles provided either.
Fantastic view of the sea from the room and balcony. Located bang opposite a bus stop of route 4. Good buffet breakfast options.

I really enjoyed my stay...at HOTEL SPLENDID. I'd booked the Vis but received an email informing me that it would be closed and I'd been flipped to Hotel Splendid, same room/sea view/price. Which worked out great for me. Super staff, good location, superb value. Oh, and the waterfall shower is insanely powerful. And they sure know how to make a perfect Vodka Martini.

United Kingdomneeds a bit of a refurb as looks quite dated in the rooms and not like the pictures, our sea view room was blocked by tree which I don’t think we should have paid extra for and the walls were extremely thin so we could hear everything in rooms next door. cleaning staff very loud and hung about in the hall/chairs outside our room talking loud every morning at 7am (we were opposite their store room). the aircon does not work at all. everytime the room above ours turned on their taps the pipes were extremely loud in our room it would wake us up at night.
great location, right on beach front and 5 minute walk to the promenade. bus stop just outside hotel which takes you to old town every 10 minutes. breakfast was ok, reception staff helpful and restaurant/bar staff also friendly. the outdoor bar area was quite nice and drinks were ok price for a hotel
