How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Smallest thing would be there are cobwebs on the ceiling, needs a dust. But aside from that could not fault it. 10/10
Location is amazing!! Check in was really easy and great communication with the host. Really well equipped and modern. Perfect place from which to explore.

The appartment's window (2 nd floor) is just above the supermarket, which is open from 7.00 till 21.00, so don't expect to sleep after 7.00 in the morning, as goods are delivered to the supermarket at approx. 6.45. There was no WIFI in the appartment and the owner did not reply to my request to provide a password, however it was advertised on booking.com as an appartment with WIFI. The building itself is very old and the stairs in the building were quite dirty. Someone in the corridor started some repair works after 9 hour in the evening, but the work finished after approx. 1 hour. The appartment's sound isolation is quite poor (bathroom windows open to the stairway, common corridor and the appartment's only window open to the street with the supermarket view), but fortunately due to the low season it wasn't too noisy.
The appartment is in the old town, it is easy to find it. It is convenient, if you go to Kornati or other boat trip because it is near the ferries' pier. There is a kitchen, a big fridge, a washing machine, a kettle, a bar table and chairs etc. I liked a big flat screen TV with netflix: you can choose from many films to watch.

Superbly situated in the centre of Zadar. The apartment is large (even though the bathroom is on the small side) and access is easy. We found a parking space not too far and not too expensive for the night.

did not like the shower cabin. she was beaten up. we had to clean it ourselves. Shower doors don't close well
I liked the system with access to the keys. we arrived late and checked in with no problems. the location of the apartment is very good, near a supermarket and a market

I was with the children. Everything was just wonderful. Cleanliness, there is everything you need. Very nice, children especially liked it. Convenient location, near the beach and pier with boats, a lighthouse and a sea organ, the with restaurants and cafes, small shops nearby, the supermarket is also not far away. The owner recommended good places where you can eat deliciously and a beach for children. Satisfied by 120% )) We will come back again.

kind of hard to find but host was very responsive and helpful in finding. it’s the door next to the casino entrance, and up a couple floors. No parking, but we found free parking on mainland and walked over to old town.
it’s location and proximity to shops and attractions.

Neighbours in the block were a bit noisy!
Clean,compact, well furnished and functional studio,great location in old town,ideal for 1-2 persons,Great communication with host,quick tip if you check out early in the morning make sure the main entrance is unlocked when you leave or you will have to go back up and get the keys from the box

Location of accommodation in the very center of the old town. Accommodation excellent, comfortable, great for vacation. We were there for May 1, so it wasn't noisy. Free parking 15 minutes from the accommodation, but you can park in front of the building to drop things off. The host is very kind and accommodating! Well done! If the trip brings us to that area again, we will 100% stay here again :)

The shower drain won't flow well.
It was clean room and cozy. There is mini supermarket next to the apartment and also close to the market. The apartment’s owner was really kind.

The building is a bit old and shabby The shower booth is a bit small – so is the whole bathroom The mirror cabinet in the bathroom is not spacious enough to put a lot of toiletry. It would be a bit better if there was some shampoo provided beside the shower gel upon check-in cos when I arrived, the DM had already closed.
Convenient location – close to all kinds of shops, restaurants and the seaside bus terminus/car park. Inside the flat things were well maintained. The hosts were kind and helpful when I mentioned some minor problems with the shower and the drain.

Good sized studio with good facilities in a residential block in the old town.Great local to the nearby Airport bus stop and passenger ferries to the islands.Supermarket next door and loads of restaurants, bars,sites of interest minutes away.Very clean and the host was easy to contact and met us at the premises.

Very cosy, quiet and super clean apartment, all the equipment included, comfortable location in the old town, 1 min walk to the bus shuttle to the airport, the landlord available through What's App to any requests. Great choice!

Everything was excellent
Very clean apartment, comfortable beds, big enough kitchen with all needed utensils, big fridge. Clean washing machine and drying rack available. Very amicable and accommodating host, met us late at night due do our flight arriving at night. Excellent location, right in the old center, very quiet street. Would definitely recommend staying there!
