The breakfast! There was not a lot to choose from regarding the hot food, and it was just lukewarm! There appeared to be a far superior breakfast available if you are not a resident, which I thought strange. There is a bar in the hotel but not available to residents after 9.30pm

Beautiful bilding with gorgeous garden in the front where you can eat breakfast on sunny days. Rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. There is also possibility to leave the luggage before check-in. Really nice and helpful service. I would definitely like to come back here.

Heat was running the whole time. Common areas were super hot and it felt hard to breathe. Personal/staff were a bit rude sometimes special at the front desk or manager. I Asked them many times to have my AC working and woke up on the middle of the night because it went off. Had to call reception 4am to fix it.

The "bar" is a little bit small. And it closes at 10pm. The "24-hour bar" is a machine to buy some drinks.

The hotel is situated in a very nice neighborhood. Rooms are great, equipped nicely with all amenities that you need. The staff is super helpful. Also metro line is located 3 minutes away.

The room could be cleaner (there was dust on the table and bed rail). There were two pillows of different sizes, but they were both very soft. Perhaps they have harder ones, but I did not ask the staff. There was no minibar in the room, only a rather overpriced vending machine that accepted fake coins provided by the staff (one small water bottle cost 800 HUF).

Very good breakfast, bright rooms, nice bathroom, large balcony. Very welcoming, helpful, and professional staff. Cool location, 18 minutes to city center by metro, many old, beautiful mansions around (mostly embassies, so it's quite calm).

Great hotel, Embassy-like property in an area that is high end, with lots of embassies and near the main park and baths. Still walkable (though a trek) to centre. Rooms are great, clean and recently refurbished, and bar/restaurant area also great. Breakfast was of high quality.

All was perfect.

Alice Hotel is wonderful! Located in a beautifully restored villa, this hotel features a very chic terrace where meals can be served. The surrounding area is incredible, packed with embassies (thus very, very safe), museums, a lot of trees, a huge park and also metro. We never used the subway since we love to walk and Andrassy Street is very close to the city center. The colour palette inside Alice Hotel is composed of soft pinks and lighter or deeper greens, making it a dreamy place altogether. Super experience!

- the fan in the bathroom was working noisily 24/7, when we reported it to the receptionist, (long story short) he looked at us as if we were idiots and was unable to solve the problem, - people who said there was a great variety at breakfast probably have never stayed at hotels with great variety at breakfast; it’s true the hotel tries to add new ingredients every day though, but I would say the breakfasts were „good enough”, - the room was generally very clean but the curtains had some disgusting stains on them — time to wash them asap! - if you want to sleep with windows open, it may not be possible due to very high street noise.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the metro station and close to an absolutely beautiful park (perfect for jogging!). The design is lovely, beds are comfortable, windows have great soundproofing, and there’s just enough storage room. We liked the outdoor garden for breakfast too. We also received the room colour we requested at booking, and we appreciate it. Overall we are very happy with the choice, it was a good value for the price we paid, and a great place to stay location-wise in Budapest!

The breakfast staff was noisily bashing cutleries and cups and did not correct the behaviour of a guest shouting through her phone having a video call without earphones. The room wall could have been cleaned off ( right hand-side under the border) so as the curtain washed when you watch it through the light there are stains at hip hight.
