Suite is spacious although we didn't really understand why so big for 1 bedroom (2ppl) + all the useless spaces: 12 seats on the terrace, huuuuuuge but completely empty entrance area, kitchen looks like a kitchen but there was completely zero equipment so it's essentially a prop. Wellness would have been nice if all facilities were on but at least two saunas were misteriously "out of order" any time we visited with a different combination each day. But the most disappointing was the staff: we only saw students in each location which makes sense from cost-cutting perspective but it was unprofessional as they are lacking that kind of drive, ambition and dedication which would make a great host. They didn't have an eye for the guest's needs and we ended up continuously asking them for everything, instead of them being aware that a facility like this should be prepared for welcoming people who want to enjoy their time.

We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner which are good quality and delicious, with various choices. The suite is spacious, with the lovely round sofa + nice terrace. Wellness area was also satisfing and loved the late opening hours.

The location is not the best as it is far from the centre of Eger and the hotel is sorrounded by old and tired looking blocks of flats. Big contrast. Dinner was ok but we expected a bit more choice and better quality for the price.

Little choice of food for breakfast and dinner.

Chicly furnished and incredibly spacious hotel rooms. The spa area was very nice too, especially the outdoor pool and the mini pool with ice water.

Location seems a little odd when you first arrive - it is located near an electric plant and car learner driver centre. However, when you get inside the hotel, none of that matters as it is beautiful. And the location of the wellbeing centre and gym - all overlook the picturesque side of the hotel - with great views of the Eger mountains. So your first impression is very easily changed once to settle inside and make use of your beautiful room and the facilities.

Not a very big hotel and more of a health centre reception than a formal hotel style reception but the staff are very friendly and relaxed, helpful staff who can't do enough for you. The quality of everything from bed linen and furniture to the gym and wellbeing facilities is excellent - very tastefully decorated and laid out. The food is excellent quality for a buffet style half board menu. Not a wide choice of items but the items available were really great quality produce and cooked/baked well. We would much rather have a small choice of quality food than a large choice of cheap food. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again.

The Steam Cabin didn’t work. The Finnish Sauna only got switched on around 2 pm, when it should be functioning from 10 am, according to schedule. There were no towels available in the spa, at the spa reception they always said 40 minutes, but sometimes we had to wait even more. The spa was not well maintained, the saunas, the Salt Room etc. smelled quite bad. The water in the pools were too cold to sit in and enjoy your time.

Overall poor stay experience, one of two bedrooms was locked when booked two rooms. No toilet rolls and damaged toilet roll holder. No working AC in lounge, and both bedrooms, even reported with no maintenance arrival throughout stay. Limited breakfast selection.

Lovely and friendly staff but not empowered to make change or resolve issues. Late arrival and nice to see some food left for us in room after long and late journey.

All points in one area, easier to understand

The hotel is outside of Eger central area, in a zone where there is an electrical plant, communist apartment blocks but also nice hills view. The room, an apartment, was very big and nice, even utilities included. Good bed, good sleep and no noise. The spa area is good, Finnish spa, infrared sauna, steam sauna, salt room and several pools with jacuzzi. Very good spa experience in the evening, bad on second day as at 9 things were not started up, wet sauna had some black stuff on the ground, Finnish sauna was cold and not aired out, water on the floor all over. The reception staff was very kind. The offer had dinner also included, easier to take after spa and far from city by walking. The options for buffet were good, few soups, few salads, cheese board, few sauces, few meats, side dishes and deserts. Big negative, no drink included, not even a basic plain tap water with lemon or whatever. You have to pay extra and the bar prices are quite high, maybe 25-40% higher than average ones, menu only in Hungarian. In addition to large prices, they also charge and extra 10% om restaurant service. The accommodation is anyway expensive. I reduce 2 extra stars because of lack of transparency for payment required for children. Children policy stated children are up to 18 years old, there was no extra charge mentioned in dedicated policy. Then I also wrote upfront on booking to discuss avout child. No reply, at checkout they ask for 60 euros for the child when the entire package was 133 euros - in the end we agreed for less which was fair, but very bad management of children policy and communication on booking.

Almost everything was very dissappointing. The doorlock system was malfunctioning and the staff was unable to fix it. We had to move to another room with two kids - in general spending 2 hours getting properly checked-in after arrival. The whole hotel was drenched in a terrible odour/perfume. Several installments in the room were out of order or falling out of the wall. The rooms were very dirty and the towels were greasy and not able to absorb water. The guy working in the spa area was looking at his phone for an hour straight although there was PLENTY of things to clean and organize. The restaurant staff didn’t speak a single word of English and the menu was only available in Hungarian.

the dirt everywhere. the broken interior. the extreme astma provoking odor. the hair from previous guests in the towels. the sour smelling ropes. the extreme use of fabric softener that made everything greasy to the touch. the measure line from when the hangers were installed. the power outlet coming out of the wall, making the place deadly, (speaking as an electrician). the toilet seat cover not being attached the lack of ventilation on the toilet, having the door right out to the “living room” the blood or somewhat dark liquid splatter of the wall behind a lamp! the shades not functioning in the 32 degree hot sun. tje ventilation in the ceiling having fallen out of the anchor points! the lack of dishsoap to cloan the cutlery. The dirty cutlery proved a sign of it also being missed by previously guests🤮🤢. the sour smell from the “wellness and spa” area, especially the matress area (NASTY). the careless personel texting the 30 minutes I stayed, being totally ignorant about the trash being all over floor in the steam bath, the empty watercontsiner by the sauna and all the smashed and used plastic cups around it, and the lack of a trashcan for said cups. the lamps on the wall hanging as someone used them for climing. some strait, most totally ascrew! the spidersweb in almost every corner. I dont want to type down anymore, it makes me too sad, that I spend money this place!

I booked and paid for a 2 Bedroom apartment and they tried to put me in a one bedroom apartment. They came up with weird reasons why we should choose the one bedroom apartment… the bigger room (I already paid for) was way more expensive, but they wanted to give us the cheaper room anyway. At the end we finally received our room, but we had to wait about 90 minutes… and it all happened at 8 pm… it was 9:30 pm until we could take our rooms.. no apologies after all this… very weird business policy specially for a hotel which just opened…
