Highly recommend!! Amazing location, only couple of minutes to the heart of the city. There are soo many cool places to eat around. Staff is super nice. Breakfast was great and various- lots of veggies and fruits available too

We had stayed at the hotel several years ago, the upgrade of the hotel was very nicely done, we were treated well by the staff, the rooms were good and we had a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was delicious, although there wasn't a lot of choice.

My wife and I spent just one night there, and it was a nice hotel with clean, kind service. We arrived early around 11 AM, and the staff provided early check-in, which was convenient. Additionally, we encountered a problem with our luggage during check-out, so we ended up checking out 1.5 hours late. Fortunately, the hotel had availability, and they allowed us to extend our stay without any issues. The staff at the reception were very friendly and approachable throughout our stay, which was greatly appreciated.

This is a systemic problem in central europe - Ambra would do well to fit ceiling fans to air and ventilate the room - be different be exceptional. The air con is weak as it is all of Budapest seemingly. I cant imagine how hot and stuffy Budapest would be in the summer. If Ambra wants to really be exceptional - install and advertise ceiling fans - you would be the only hotel to offer COMFORT in a changing climate - be ahead of the curve if you can - otherwise and additionally offer pedestal fans but make sure they are good ones.

Would’ve given it a 10 if it wasn’t for the noise - not from outside, but from the hotel itself. Very poor soundproofing, which luckily didn’t disturb my sleep, but did allow me to hear a couple doing some things I really didn’t want to be a part of.

Perfectly located. Everything is a walking distance away, surrounded by tons of great bars and restaurants. Breakfast isn’t huge, but it’s very satisfactory and the variety slightly changes every day. Staff super helpful - went out of their way to help us make dinner reservations.

The only one thing and this isn’t Ambra’s fault, you may have some (and I mean only some) noise at night depending if it is the weekend. This would not put me off though staying again and also recommending though!

Perfect location! A great location to be able to walk to places. A huge amount of places to eat and drink! Staff were very friendly, room was clean and the breakfast was good!

The staff were really lovely and helpful. The decor is beautiful. It has so many bars, cafes and restaurants in the area but the property is down a small quiet street. I would highly recommend this hotel. I loved everything!

I loved everything. The decor, the staff, breakfast included. I would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel. We walked to everything. There were amazing, restaurants,bars, cafes all around us. The hotel is down a small street which was super quiet. The river is about a 15minute walk away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The shower cabin is not very well proofed and we got all the bathroom wet :( The breakfast was nice but it didn’t have the expected variety.

- I found it quite noisy in my room (1st room on 1st floor) both from outside and inside hotel. Walls are a little thin so could hear my neighbours. Hotel does provide ear plugs but they were in the wardrobe and I only found them as I was checking out. I’d suggest leaving them by the bedside. - my shower was running scolding hot and then a few seconds of cold before returning to normal temperature (and then repeating). By day 4, this was getting very annoying. However my friend had no issues so maybe it was just that room. - also shower was on the small side so could be a problem for anyone taller/bigger but again my friend’s room had a bigger shower. So luck of the draw I guess. Overall pleasant stay and I would highly recommend!

- staff were super friendly - wonderful breakfasts. So much variety. There was also fizzy wine available with breakfast which was different and enjoyed by lots of the guests. - really comfortable beds - great location nears lots of restaurants and 15-20 mins walk to the river - ‘bar area’ so you could have a drink if you wanted to after hours
