Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineOnly one thing in the room - that there were only one functional open window with mosquito net, so it was stuffy in the room. It is good to add one more mosquito net, to have more fresh air inside not mosquitoes. It would also be good to clean up the trash in the water near the ship
We had a quadruple room (2 Adults + 2 kids). The room was quite big and comfortable, clean and supplemented with a tea/coffee tray. The bathroom was equipped with good quality soap sets. The breakfast is simple, but good and the coffee made from beans was good and tasty. We were welcomed with cute tiny ships on the beds crafted from towels =) The most intriguing thing, of course, is that this boat was built in 1848 and was called Kharkiv for a period (which was a big surprise for us Ukrainians). In the ship's hold, we found an amusement room with some activities (many years ago, there was a real casino in that space), so our kids and we were really happy to spend this interesting time there together.

ThailandThe interior is outdated. Furniture &fixtures in the in the ship are old. Wi-fi in the room is very weak. But these are not the issues for us.
Unique location. Great view. Near to the town center. Breakfast is good. Less than 10 mins drive to Citadel castle.

United KingdomThis is not a critique. More a warning. Maybe was paranoia from my side, specially because I suffer from motion sickness and sometimes I though I felt the movement of the boat. All of my colleagues were fine but I got a little bit sick a couple of times.
The service, the staff and the breakfast was incredible!!!! I enjoy my stay a lot.

SerbiaThe staff is a little aloof. At times it was hard to even find anybody or speak to them normally, since they don't really know English that good (all except the Ukrainian girl).
It was interesting to stay on the ship for a few days. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options available, even soy milk and other healthy choices. There is a interesting museum very close to the hotel, as well as the amazing Renesanse diner. Special thanks to the Ukrainian girl on the reception! She went out of her way to make sure we have everything. She was super polite and spoke English very good.

SerbiaIt was a bit chilly in the room and the TV simply didn't want to work.
I have to say it is a special experience. Being on a boat, the cabin rooms, the view, everything was truly different. There is a private, spacious parking close to the boat, which is good. The staff are truly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best!

United StatesThis floating hotel was a lovely surprise. Exterior looks bit worn but inside, all is bright and clean and roomy. We were visiting with our kids and grandkids, 4&7, and the grandchildren loved the idea of sleeping on a boat. Our 4-year-old grandson especially loved looking through the glass floor at the engine/gears. Our 7 year old granddaughter loved trying her hand at ping pong in the game room. Breakfast buffet was generous. Our host helped us get a van ride up to Visegrad ruins as the weather was a bit iffy. Great location, quick ferry ride to train station and short walk to local restaurants for dinner.

HungaryI missed on-site options like restaurant, and/or a bar. The play-room was OK but require some renovation. One of the rooms was a bit smelly, but after ventilation through the window it disappeared.
The location is fantastic, within a reach restaurants and shops are available. The view from the window is beautiful, watching the passing boats from your window is a nice experience. For breakfast you get a nice variation of dishes.

Slovakia- TV not working - TV had initially no channels, after tuning, transmission (even with 2 external antennas in the room) was not usable - breakfast was disappointing (stale cold cuts, milk rice was just cold milk with few grains of rice..) - sharp rocks as floor for parking - sink was clogged - warm water in the shower was rare - hole on bedsheet
Nice view from room and terrace
