How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Roof over jacuzzi only closes if outside is raining. Patios are incredibly small

The room was small; the toilet didn’t have regular soap for hands, only a shower gel, but it was not a big deal.

We had a problem with password to enter the room after using spa; we left our phone in the room. Luckily our friend from the next room had a phone and we managed to call and they told us the code of the box where was spare key.
The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. Spa is very nice. Location is god. Restaurant next door is very nice. Near is Tesco if you need anything.

I liked everything, but our room neighbors had unpleasant experience with SPA rules, they had to pay fine, so read the instructions carefully.
It was an interesting experience to stay in a place and not met any staff for two days. The breakfast, which was served in the restaurant next to the facility, was tasty. The room was tidy, and the amenities were OK. The neighborhood was pleasant for walking and had plenty of parking spaces. We also enjoyed the Napolitano style pizza at the restaurant for a dinner.

Room is not the biggest, but the picture and description is fully accurate so no surprises.
Location, facilities, room. Really comfortable bed, jacuzzi outside a huge plus. Restaurant next door was amazing.

We only had one small bottle of body lotion in the room, the other one was empty. It’s a small thing, all in all it was a great stay for us!!
Good location, good breakfast, and the jacuzzi was great! The bathroom was clean, and the waitress in the Monkey Bistro was super nice!

Sauna was cold, we didn't know that we should come an hour earlier to hit the things up.
Hotub was heated and ready for us on arrival. Breakfast was really good.

I found it challenging to pinpoint anything specific, as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
A contemporary and compact hotel, just a short stroll from Pick Arena. The room was pleasant, tidy, and cozy. Although my stay was only for one night, it was thoroughly enjoyable.

We had an accident when first entering the jacuzzi (tried to get in the deepest part) You should put up a sign where it's safe to enter We could not figure out how to adjust the air con, so the room was very hot
The bed/mattress was very comfortable, and it was an excellent place for introverts The staff was very welcoming and helpful

The outdoor jacuzzi is not quite as I expected, the water was kinda yellowish with a bit of smell to it, but as it was super cold, we didn't even have a chance to look into it more.
The room is really cozy, beds are super comfortable, and bathroom is great with an excellent shower. Breakfast is conveniently situated next door and it's super tasty. It's similar day-to-day, but it's always super tasty, everything is fresh and crispy.
