Power went out for a little while which made it tough for my elderly patents to get to the room - but more the complex's fault than anyone elses.

Absolutely delightful, staff were friendly and accommodating - value for money with an amazing view, great location. Beds were comfy and the shower was perfect!

We stayed for 3 nights, the location was perfect, the room was nice and clean with a comfy bed, we couldn’t of asked for more. We loved having the view of the ferris wheel. The apartment host was lovely and really accommodating, he was very on the ball with sending us instructions and recommendations. If we visit Budapest again we will 100% be back!!

The accommodation was great. The room was big, full of light and spacious. The building had the old city vibing; the checkin instructions were easy and the tips we received for what to do and where to go were more than helpful.

It’s complicated To find the hotel . I got rude with bolt , they dropped me somewhere else. I used my GPS still couldn’t find the hotel . After more than one hour of looking and asking people around and shops finally found it . First you need to find museum of illusion, then it’s easy to get there because it’s on the same building

You don't actually meet or see any staff face to face. The reception is never open. There are 3 storeys. The Hotel Rumor on the first floor, a hostel on the second and the Budapest Eye suites on the third. Entry is through large wooden doors used to access the Museum of Illusions. Residents of the hostel come and go regularly. Anyone booking these suites need to be aware that the lift and stairs are not private

The position is excellent. Very central and easy to reach major attractions. The rooms are large with beautiful bathrooms and good facilities. There is a cafe right next door for breakfast and bars and restaurants within a minute of the accommodation. The host communicated through Whatsapp messages. He provides plenty of information on where to eat, what to see and where to go.

Instructions to get in the hotel could be clearer; as well as the location for the breakfast which is 500m away of the hotel (but very pleasant though!)

Location is just perfect, right in the city center next to the ferris wheel. The bus stop where the airport bus stops is just a couple of minutes away. Very spacious room and nice design. My room didn’t have the view of the ferris wheel, but I booked the room last moment. The host gave some useful tips about the sights and restaurants via WhatsApp :) There is no need to check in/out on the reception, it’s enough to enter the code to open the box and receive your room key

Location was fantastic, I even had a view. Not sure why the hotel is listed at 2.5 stars. Perhaps because it is on the 3rd floor of a converted apartment building and the building entrance etc is old. But once you enter the hotel itself everything is new. Rooms are big, water pressure is great.

It was confusing at the very beginning. I thought it was going to be a building that had its own entrance. But instead, you enter a code while still standing out on the street to open a massive door that opens into a courtyard. Then you enter a code at a gate to get into the building with an elevator. After we got off on the correct floor we found the door to the boutique. Outside the entrance are key boxes with a keycard in it. We entered the code for the door and found our room. Since we arrived before our rooms were ready there was a place to leave our luggage while we explored the city. This isn’t a complaint, in fact it was unique to go in and out of the building. It was interesting, fun and different from anyplace I’ve ever stayed at. Very seldom do you see any staff. Once we got used to it it was nice.

I liked that it was unique and right downtown, close to public transportation and the hop on hop off bus. I also liked the way any problems I had were dealt with to my satisfaction.

We loved everything about our stay. We had a beautiful view to the ferris wheel from our room. You stay in the middle of the center, you will not be bothered by outside noises. Eyal gave us a lot of tips about the city which is very thoughtful.
