How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We have stayed here twice now, the location is calm, peaceful and perfect to relax for a romantic weekend. The hotel is spotless and well equipt, staff very effcient and polite. The highlight was the room,. large, modern and a perfect bathroom, view and facilites. The food is also great, plentify, wide choice and all of good quality, it would be hard to find a fault with the hotel

Shower area glass door cannot effectively block the water coming out. The bathroom floor gets wet after taking shower.

We loved the whole vacation, but i need to mention the restaurant and the Chef: the food is fantastic, varied, high-quality, you could say fine dining category! The chef came to introduce himself, explained the menu for the day and presented the dishes from the show kitchen. It was the best in its category where we have been so far. Must to visit:) (sure we will come back again)

The staff will offer upgrade of the room if more expensive rooms are available, we took it, but I do not think we should have -- paid more just to have a Nespresso machine....
A great wellness hotel in a picturesque environment. The rooms are very comfortable, well equipped. The wellness area is nice, my husband rated the sauna very good. The food is super good, the hotel restaurant is recommended even if someone does not stay here. I would say this is for those who want to rest, and maybe take some excursions in the area. The hotel is remote, best to come by car and drive around to visit the area.

We had unpleasant situation when neighbouring holiday house had very laud party with very laud music played outside of the building. As it was late night we asked reception to react by calling the police, for isntance, for which first answer was that we cannot do anything as it is private property which does not belong to the hotel facilities, and the best will be if I call the police. Afterwards, got feedback from reception that hotel was informed about this party, but nobody informed us about it, when proposing better view room (towards the party house) when checking in. While checking out, when mentioned about it the receptionist did not say even I am sorry. All in all, I would recommend to hotel's management to focus on proper training for staff about its sensitivity on guests requests and proper hospitality empathy. Because of this rate is 8/10, otherwise it would be a 10.
Great location. Hotel is relatively new. Very clean room. Wanderful view on sourounding hills. Fantastic, various food was served during buffet breakfasts and dinners. Spa was nice with various saunas. It was nice to relax on the grass outside, just next to the spa area.

The view from the room to the valley is perfect, the kitchen is extraordinary, the quality of the breakfast and especially of the dinners are amazing, surely we will come back :-)

The pool was on the small side, not for swimming. The room was too hot, so I had to keep the window open.
The superior room was spacious and comfortable. Food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner choices and quality. Massage was really good too! The environment of the hotel is beautiful with Unesco World Heritage village and a 13th century castle in waking distance.

Everything was super. Professional and helpful staff, kids also received some SantaClaus surprise. Nice surrounding, village and castle accessible by walk. Playroom for kids. The restaurant is just fantastic.

The food was really good, both at breakfast and dinner. The stuff is speaking English and they are very polite and helpful.
The hotels is close to the UNESCO village, Holloko and that is perfect for families or couples who want to spend some quality time near nature

Had to pay for water/beverages at dinner - didn't expect this in 4* hotel. Hotel states you can pay in EUR (the reservation was mad in EUR) but I had to pay in Ft (lost some money in the conversion).
We liked the surroundings, nice castle neer hotel (500 m) Very nice personell - everyone was very helpfull, eventhough not all knew english Very nice SPA area, not crowded.

Spa is supposed to open at 7.30, but actually both mornings there was a later start. The wellness receptionist was really nice, but the place is clearly understaffed. Also the guy at the bar felt like he was doing a favour making coffee …
