How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We were out of season, the beaches were all closed and you can't walk near the lake. Bars are mostly closed and preparing for the season.
Everything about the accommodation was perfect. We got an apartment that was better than in the pictures. Big, new and clean with a big terrace.Spacious and safe parking and the best location.

Breakfast could be more varied, coffee was poor, no toiletries in the bath, though they were provided when asked for.
Welcoming staff, comfy room, very central location for restaurants, beach. Parking is available in the courtyard.

Everything was good!
Zoli was a great host! The location is perfect, plenty of restaurants and very close to the lake. We will definitely say there again! Thank you Zoli for the coffee after we had checked out!

Mattress could be firmer for my taste. Breakfast was enough with rather limited selection.
Location was very central. Very neat and clean! A/C came in handy!

I can't say I didn't like something
I've been to Siófok before, but I've never felt so good now. The cleanliness, the endowments of the room, the generous parking, the location of the hotel but especially the kindness of the reception staff left me a very pleasant memory.

No elevator, third floor was a hike. Beach access for a fee.
Great little hotel, appears to have gone through a full renovation. Great location, right on the promenade with free car parking available. Street music may an issue for families in the evenings.

My sister and I are returning guests to this hotel. This was our 4th time here, we stayed at an apartment. The rooms/apartments are always super clean, well equipped, spacious and the hotel itself is at a great location - restaurants, bars, shopping possibilities and of course lake Balaton is also just a stone throw away. If you want to party, relax, take a boat trip, do sports - everything is within short walking distance. The staff is always very kind and helpful, which makes it even more welcoming to return to this accommodation - you know what you get. :-)

There are no mosquito nets on the windows and balcony doors.
Super-clean, comfortable, and stylish apartment. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. If you go to Siófok for partying, it's perfect.

I mean I am trying always be aware of what cathegory I am choosing and obviously I was not expecting any great services, at the giveprice cathegory. So in few words: Location: great, in case you really want to be in the center and you do not mind a bit of “nightlfe noises”, especially during weekends. Private parking-great. Stuff: receptionests nice and trying to be helpfull, though… you can handle only wat you have at disposal. The rest- mainly the young lady/ies during breakfast, simply bad, lazy! Some terrible scrambled eggs…poore sausages… 2 out of 3 fruit juices not available. Broken coffe machine. Originally ( I am not sure why) I thought it was included, but during the check-out they charged us 13,-EUR/person/night and I told to myself-wtf. I strongly recommend the facility to work on the quality, or if it is easier for them, just say sorry- we do not offer breakfast. And finally, do not why, but no room service in 3 days🥱
Location is great, obviously if you are looking for a place with a nightlife. Parking facillities were ok as well.

The beds are not comfortable, mattresses are too soft ( at least for me )
Very good location, although it can get very noisy at night, from all the activity outside. Modern, clean, nice.

Noise at the reception at 1 am ..
Location was good close to the beach , bars and restaurant . Air conditioning helped a lot and a fridge in the room kept our drinks cool . Room was modern clean , and spacious with a terrace . Staff friendly and helpful .

No shampoo, shower gel, soap in the bathroom. No toilet paper, we had to buy it ourselves. The breakfast it was a joke. They checked 3 times if i really have breakfast included in my rate. Tomato cucumber could have been there for 2 days and that’s all vegetables. 2 options for breakfast only. The breakfast was under value. No late check out, we asked for only one hour, we wanted to pay for it but the answer was at 11AM you have to leave.
Clean room, good location.
