It was cold, no soap or shower gel.We had bugs as roommates but they did not pay their part 🤣 The bugs were friendly and did not bother me, but other guest might not like them.

We had two rooms, one of them had mold in the bathroom and in the other one the toilet was leaking & shower doors were broken. Furniture handles were missing, also the TV was not working(no remote and only static on the screen). Mattress similar as a couch one, but it was decent. Even if the triple room is on the ground level and there are big windows, I had a constant wierd sensation being in a basement and only because the room entrance is at 1st level and the double bed is located under (ground level). Anyway, it was an 'emergency' choice, for one night, in a busy weekend when almost everything located in decent location was booked. I would stay here again? In the same situation, I would probably will. I would recommend it? Probably, if you need something cheap and well located.

Location - walking distance to center, you have 2 supermarkets 2 feet away and one excellent breakfast place roght outside the hotel. The guy at the reception was friendly and helpfull. Room cleaning was decent. Kettle & fridge in the room.

A weird smell in the room. Outlets didn't work. Not recommended, not worth the money. Very noisy, you can hear literally everything.  We have paid extra 15€ for a late check-in.

– We had COCKROACHES in the room! I know it is pretty common in these old buildings, but I guess the hotel management could do something about that. I found this particular aspect truly disgusting, otherwise everything else would match the price for the stay. Luckily I am not afraid of such insects, but it was very uncomfortable to sleep in a bed when just a minute ago you saw a cockroach taking a walk on it.

+ very nice and kind front desk service good location (near Szimpla Kert, Nomad Traveller's Pub etc. ideal for tourists) near public transport stops free WiFi simple but sufficient furniture – though the steep spiral staircase might be quite risky when drunk 😅

Location at first look was a little awkward. But after to walk the area, was very convenient and accessible and workable. The area is perhaps a little too much "Bohemian" but all worked out over the duration of my stay

In the hotel description, it is stated the check-in is 24h with no mention of additional charges which is why I chose this hotel as my flight was scheduled to arrive at 00.30 am. At 1 am (when I was in the bus from the airport to the hotel) I received an email from the hotel to tell me I had to pay an extra 10€ for late check-in which I had no choice but to accept. Upon arrival I asked about late check-out due to my late arrival, which was as per brochure at the front desk and in the room at 5€ per hour so for 4 hours I would expect to pay 20€, but was told they could do it for half price at 40€ and that the brochure was out of date. (Then update it or don't display it!) The room was also disappointing, hair on the toilet seat and in the sink. No bath mat, no slippers, no mugs/tea/coffee and a lot less shampoo/shower gel compared to the pictures.

The room needs repairment, the voice (even whisper) of the neighbouring rooms is heard, there is no elevator in the building.

the shawer did not work properly the first day, the room was not clean and it seems only garbage was taken out everyday but no cleaning was done. i could hear people in the next room talking.
